IT ENDURES FOREVER=EVERY DAY

 

The GREATEST thing we have

To OFFER someone else

IS MERCY

And a compassionate heart

 

Giving someone MERCY-=especially

In a challenging situation

Is a great gift

Today= and EVERY DAY

 

“Give thanks to the Lord

For he is good

His MERCY ENDURES FOREVER”                                                 Psalm 136:1

 

“MERCY ENDURES FOREVER”=is repeated

In every stanza

Of today’s psalm

 

I think of ALL=I have

Done wrong=in this life

 

And it is hard

To WRAP my head

Around it=

Much less than forever

FOREVER=is such

A long ling time

 

Have you ever noticed

That the younger you are

The SLOWER time passes?=

As we AGE

 

TIME does pass more quickly

Un til we REALIZE

How  long FOREVER must be

 

HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER

For God-

TIME is irrelevant

 

“The Lord reigns FOREVER

He has established=his throne

For judgment”                                                                                            Psalm 9:7

 

“But You Lord-

Are FOREVER EXALTED”                                                                    Psalm 92:8

 

“And I will ask

The Father=

And he will give you

 

Another advocate=to help you

And be with you=FOREVER

The SPIRIT of truth”                                                                             John 14:16-17

 

God has been MERCIFUL

Throughout all of time

BEFORE we were born

And continuing until

Long after we are gone

IT ENDURES FOREVER=EVERY DAY

 

This psalmist KNEW the difficulty

In grasping

The inexhaustible

MERCY OF GOD

 

And every time

We are FORGIVEN again=

For something we have done

We are taken back

 

Yes we are astonished by God=

HIS MERCY and forgiveness

Today=and EVERY DAY

Of our lives

 

“For the Lord

Your God=is MERCIFUL

 

He will not abandon

Or destroy you

Or forget the covenant

 

With your ancestors

Which he confirmed to them

By oath”                                                                                       Deuteronomy 4:31

 

“BE MERCIFUL

Just as your Father

Is MERCIFUL”                                                                        Luke 6:36

 

We too

Are CALLED=to be merciful

Toward all others

 

IT ENDURES FOREVER!

Every day

 

Dear Lord=with GRATEFUL HEARTS

For all the forgiveness

You have given us

 

WE EXTEND

That mercy=to AL OTHERS

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER MERCIFUL=God the Father!
