PRAYING FOR PEACE
The Lord KNOWS
This world needs PEACE
Peace between nations=between religions
And in our FAMILIES
And everywhere that we turn
I am praying for this PEACE
HARDER than ever before
PRAYING FOR PEACE!
“Saul then said to David=
‘You are in the RIGHT
Rather than I
You have treated me generously
While I
Have done you harm’”
1 Samuel 24:18
In the HEAT of battle
Saul FINALLY ADMITS his guilt
And apologizes to David
BOTH Saul and David
Choose actions of
MERCY over pride
David’s actions of NONVIOLENCE
Finally brings Saul
To his senses
And we see HUMILITY
And gratitude=and at long last peace
PRAYING FOR PEACE
“And Joseph answered Pharaoh saying=
‘It is not in me
God shall give Pharaoh
An ANSWER OF PEACE’”
Genesis 41:16
“I will hear-
What God the Lord
Will speak
For he will speak PEACE
Unto his people
And to his saints
But let them
Not turn again=to folly”
Psalm 85:8
“And if this house
Be worthy
Let YOUR PEACE=come upon it
But if
It not be worthy
LET YOUR PEACE
Return to you”

PRAYING FOR PEACE=
Let us all FIND PEACE
In our families=in our homes
And in the world
We are called to be
LEADERS AND heroes
In our world
By LIVING the gospel
Like the apostles
And Jesus’ disciples
And we do that
By living in love
AND IN PEACE
“Behold I have given him
For a witness
For his people
A LEADER and commander
To the people”
Isaiah 55:4
Dear Lord=let us PRAY TODAY
Help us
TO PRAY FOR PEACE!
And to take the actions necessary
To forgive
And lead others to PEACE
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ever PEACEFUL=HOLY
FATHER GOD!
