WHAT IS LIFE

“What is life”

 

 

What is life

I don’t completely know

I can walk I can run

I can lie in the sun

 

I can eat I can drink

I can trick or treat

I can be serious

I can be loud

I can be mellow

Or I can be so foolish

You’d think I’m high or delirious

 

So what is life

How do we explain our inconsistencies

I don’t really know

But it’s a combination of beliefs and actions

All intertwined

Into many mysteries

And intricacies

 

So what is life

This I do know

It is something special

Something that should not be taken for granted

Or let be supplanted--by anyone or anything

It’s an opportunity to grow

This I do know
