INVITING ALL!=
Into the Kingdom
Today we celebrate
THE KING OF THE UNIVERSE=
Just WHO is this KING?
He was sneered
By the authorities=and
JEERED by the crowd
He doesn’t Look like a KING
He hung from the cross
And GASPED for air
And in his LAST MOMENTS=
He GAZES into the eyes
Of a dying criminal
Who begs TO BE REMEMBERED
“Then he said”=’Jesus=REMEMBER ME
When you come
Into your KINGDOM’”
Luke 23:42
JESUS INVITES ALL!=
Into his Kingdom=even
The vulnerable and=the marginalized
INVITING ALL!=Into his Kingdom
“For many ARE INVITED-
But few are chosen”
Matthew 22:14
“For I was hungry=
And you gave me=something to eat
I was a stranger=and you
INVITED ME IN”
Matthew 25:35
“If an unbeliever
INVITES YOU to a meal
And you want to go
Eat whatever
Is put before you=without
Raising questions of conscience”
1 Corinthians 10:27
In the FINAL MOMENTS
Of his life=Jesus tells us
What HIS KINGDOM IS
It is a Kingdom
Made by a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP
With God
In his Kingdom=HE INVITES ALL!
Into the Kingdom=all we have to do
Is respond
WITH A YES
The kingdom INVITES ALL!
No matter
What our status is
No matter
HOW MUCH money we have
INVITING ALL!
Into the Kingdom of God
“HIS KINGDOM
Is an ETERNAL KINGDOM
His dominion endures
From generation to generation”
Daniel 4:3
“And the gospel=OF THE KINGDOM
Will be preached
Into the whole world
As a testimony=to all nations
And the end=will come”
Matthew 24:14
Jesus’ kingdom=is a kingdom
WHO INVITES ALL!
It is
A KINGDOM OF INCLUSION
That includes you
All belong=all are WELCOME
NO ONE
Will be turned away
INVITING ALL!=into the Kingdom
Is JESUS=OUR KING!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ALL INCLUSIVE LOVING Holy
Father God!
