RESPONDING TO GOD’S CALL
God does CALL US
To different challenges=different ways
TO GO=in this life
And WHEN HE CALLS
On us=he EXPECTS US
To ANSWER the call=
RESPONDING TO GOD’S CALL
In our lives
“At once=they left
Their nets
AND FOLLOWED HIM”
Matthew
4:20
WHEN God calls on you
HOW are you
Going to respond?
WITH A DEFINITE YES
Or=when I get
Around to it=that is NOT
THE ANSWER
God wants to hear=from us
RESPONDING TO GOD’S CALL
ANSWER the call from God
When he=CALLS ON YOU
“Seek the Lord
Where he=May be found
CALL ON HIM=
When he is near”
Isaiah 55:6
“CALL to me=
And I will=ANSWER YOU
And tell you great
And unsearchable things
You do not know”
Jeremiah 33:3
“For I have not come
TO CALL the righteous
But sinners”
Matthew 9:13
Got that=God is=Jesus is
CALLING ON YOU
And me
For we are ALL SINNERS
In this crazy
MIXED-UP world=that we
Live in
The HOLY SPIRIT nudges us
In different ways
To make A CALL
To a sick friend
To give someone=A RAY OF HOPE
Or a pat on the back
AND SOME ENCOURAGEMENT
To keep on TRYING
ANSWER the Holy Spirit’s CALL
Right now=do not put off God
Until tomorrow
RESPONDING TO GOD’S CALL
Right now
“……..For God’s gifts
And his CALL=are irrevocable”
Romans 11:29
“But you are=A chosen people
A royal priesthood=a holy nation
God’s special possession
That you may declare
The praises of him
WHO CALLED ON YOU=out of darkness
INTO his wonderful light”
1 Peter 2:9
We are=you are=I am
CALLED BY GOD=
It is up to us
To be REPONDING TO GOD’S CALL!
Just as soon as we can
May we RESPOND=
Like the first apostles=and Saints
With a quick and resounding YES
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER CALLING=Holy
Father God!
