COME TO JESUS=FOR REST!

 

COME TO JESUS=FOR REST

 

Jesus CARRIED=THE WEIGHT

Of the world=on his shoulders

He carries=OUR CROSSES TOO

The Greek god=Atlas=had NOTHING

On him

 

And in=the eleventh chapter

Of Saint Matthew’s gospel=JESUS INVITES

All of us=in today’s world

To come to him=FOR REST

COME TO JESUS=FOR REST!

 

“COME TO ME=all you who labor

And are BURDENED=and I

WILL GIVE YOU REST!”                                                                                                              Matthew 11:28

 

We are ALL=carrying burdens

IN THIS LIFE=that are far

FAR TOO HEAVY=for us

 

BURDENS OF HEALTH=burdens of finances

And family and RELATIONSIP BURDENS

That are too heavy=for us

TO CARRY ALONE

 

TAKE your burdens to Jesus

For he says=COME TO ME

WHEN you are weary

COME TO JESUS=FOR REST

 

“Praise be=

To the Lord=to God our Savior

Who daily bears=OUR BURDENS”                                                                                              Psalm 68:19

 

“For my yoke=is easy

AND MY BURDEN=IS LIGHT”                                                                                                    Matthew 11:30

 

“Carry=each OTHER’S BURDENS

And in this way=you will

Fulfill the law of Christ”                                                                                                              Galatians 6:2

 

So if LIFE=IS CRUSHING YOU

COME TO Jesus=to find REST

COME TO JESUS=FOR REST!

 

When you are BEING

WEIGHED DOWN by anxiety=by fear

By worry=and by doubt

You do NOT=have to

Carry your burdens alone

 

JESUS IS WAITING=Just for you

Come to Jesus=FOR REST

 

“Whoever dwells=in the shelter

Of the Most High=WILL REST

In the shadow=of the Almighty”                                                                                             Psalm 91:1

 

“This is=

What the Lord says’=

 

‘Stand at the crossroads=and look

Ask=for the ancient paths

 

And where the good way is=

And walk in it=and you will

FIND REST=for your souls’”                                                                                                  Jeremiah 6:16

 

So PICK UP YOUR BURDENS=

Pick up your crosses=and

COME TO JESUS=FOR REST!

The Lord is=WAITING

Just for you

 

“WAIT=for the Lord=be strong

And take heart=AND WAIT=for the Lord”                                                                                Psalm 27:14

 

“……..while we=

WAIT for the blessed hope-------

 

The appearing of the glory=of

Our great God and Savior=Jesus Christ”                                                                                  Titus 2:13

 

Our God is=A STRONG GOD

He can CARRY=all

The burdens you and I

Cannot carry ourselves

COME TO JESUS=FOR REST

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name==of OUR EVER STRONG=Holy Father God!
