GOD HEARS US=WHEN WE ARE IN NEED!

 

GOD HEARS US!=

(When we are IN NEED)

 

Today we hear=THE CRY

Of little Ishmael=the little boy

Of the mother Hagar

 

GOD HEARS HIM!=what

An amazing story=he hears us too

WHEN WE CRY=When we are in NEED

GOD HEARS US!

 

“God heard the Boy’s CRY…….”                                                                                          Genesis 21:17

 

Our God=is OUR FATHER=he

Is our parent=he has a PATERNAL INSTINCT

Toward all of us

GOD HEARS US!=When we are in need

 

God sent an ANGEL=

To help Ishmael=in the desert

And he SENDS us help

THROUGH OTHERS=through our family

And friends=when

WE CRY out to him

 

“……..if my people

Who are called by my name=

Will humble themselves=and pray

And seek my face

 

And turn from their wicked ways

Then I WILL HEAR=from heaven……..”                                                                           2 Chronicles 7:14

 

“In that day=the deaf=

WILL HEAR=the words of the scroll”                                                                                       Isaiah 29:18

 

“Whoever has ears=LET THEM HEAR”                                                                           Matthew 11:15

 

We read so often=in the bible

And hear=”God HEARS

The cry=of the poor”=do we

Hear it too?

 

The POOR can be anyone=it

Can be an INDIVIDUAL IN NEED=or

It can be A WHOLE GROUP of people

In pain

 

Or it can EVEN BE=A NATION

Like ours=who has lost their way

Who has quit living=WITH GOD

As a PRIORITY=in our lives

GOD HEARS US!=when we are in NEED

 

“Share with the Lord’s people=

WHO ARE IN NEED=practice hospitality”                                                                          Romans 12:13

 

“If anyone=has material possessions=

And sees=a brother or sister=in NEED

 

But does not have pity=on them

HOW can the love of God=BE

In that person?”                                                                                                               1 John 3:17

 

When we are in NEED

GOD HEARS US=like little Ishmael

 

The question= we have to ask ourselves

Is how ATTENTIVE=we are

To others IN NEED

 

Do we HELP=our brothers

And sisters in NEED=when we are CAPABLE

Of making a difference

 

God Heard Ishmael!=GOD HEARS US!

When we are=IN NEED=but do we

DO THE SAME=when we can?

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER HELPING=and helpful=Holy Father God!
