FOR SINNERS TOO!
ONE thing=that we know
About Jesus=is that
He CAME=for all of us=HE INCLUDED EVERYONE
In his ministry=FOR SINNERS TOO!
Today the Pharisees ask Jesus=a question
A POINTED QUESTION=trying
TO TRAP=Jesus yet again
“WHY=does your teacher=eat
With tax collectors=and SINNERS?”
Matthew 9:11
But Jesus=CANNOT be trapped=He
Has the perfect comeback
“It is not he healthy=who
Need a Doctor=BUT THE SICK”
Matthew 9:12
Isn’t that what WE LOVE=
About our Jesus=he came
FOR ALL OF US=he came
For you and me=ALL of us
On the MARGINS of society
We need to be EXAMPLES=OF JESUS
For everyone=in this world
The RICH and the prosperous=
Those just like us=and the POOR
Those who are=ON THE MARGINS
Of society=Jesus
An example for us all=we should
BE EXAMPLES TOO!
“Do not let your heart=ENVY SINNERS
But always be zealous=for
The fear=of the Lord”
Proverbs 23:17
“For I have=not come
To call the righteous=BUT SINNERS”
Matthew 9:13
“Whoever turns a SINNER=
From the error=of their ways
Will save them
From death=and cover over
A multitude of sins”
James 5:20
We NEED to be there
For those=who are
Different than us
We need to be=THAT EXAMPLE
Of Jesus=we need to SHOW
The margins of society=That same love
Jesus came with=for all people
FOR SINNERS TOO!=we need
To be an EXAMPLE of Jesus
In this world
“I have set you=AN EXAMPLE
That you should do=as I
Have done for you”
John 13:15
“FOLLOW MY EXAMPLE=as I
Follow the EXAMPLE of Christ” 1
Corinthians 11:1
“To this=you were called=because
Christ suffered for you=Leaving you
AN EXAMPLE=that you should follow
In his steps” 1
Peter 2:21
Jesus lived and died=
With a GENEROSITY OF SPIRIT
For all of us=FOR SINNERS TOO!
Dear Lord=we PRAY=open our hearts
With that=SAME generosity of spirit
For all people=FOR SINNERS TOO!=just like you
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING
Father=who always=LOVE ALL PEOPLE!
