WE ARE=CHOSEN BY GOD TOO!

 

CHOSEN BY GOD=TOO

(We are)

 

We all KNOW Jesus=was God’s Son

And was sent=to REDEEM the world

He got the job done=at GREAT EXPENSE

To himself

 

And his family member=John

John the Baptist=his COUSIN=was CHOSEN

To be his forerunner=and PREPARE

The world for Jesus

We are all=CHOSEN BY GOD TOO

Just like Jesus and John

 

“……..from my mother’s womb=he

Gave me MY NAME”                                                                                                                  Isaiah 49:1

 

Today is the FEAST of

John the Baptist=he was the FIRST PERSON

TO RECOGNIZE=who Jesus was

 

John was LEAPING=IN

His mother’s womb=when Mary

Came to visit Elizabeth

 

“As soon as=the sound

Of your greeting=reached my ears

The BABY in my womb=

LEAPED FOR JOY”                                                                                                             Luke 1:44

 

NOT only was John CHOSE

By God=but so was his name

The Lord had to get=Zechariah=

John’s FATHER=to cooperate in

The choosing of the name

 

Zechariah was SILENT for months

And couldn’t speak=UNTIL he consented

And WTOTE=on a tablet

 

“HIS NAME IS JOHN”

“Immediately his mouth=WAS OPENED

And his tongue=was set free=and

He BEGAN TO SPEAK”                                                                                                               Luke 1:63-64

 

SO ALWAYS REMEMBER=

God CHOSE Jesus as his Son=Mary to be

The MOTHER of God=and John the Baptist

And his NAME

 

And he CHOOSES YOU AND ME

We are CHOSEN in=just the same way

That they were

 

“But You=Israel=my servant

Jacob=whom I have CHOSEN=

You descendants of Abraham=My friend”                                                                             Isaiah 41:8

 

“As it is=You

Do not belong=to the world

But=I HAVE CHOSEN YOU

Out of the world”                                                                                                                      John 15:19

 

That is right=MY

Dear brothers and sisters

 

Jesus and John=and the BLESSED MOTHER

WERE CHOSEN BY GOD==as were

The apostles and the Saints

But so are WE

 

We are=CHOSEN BY GOD!

To complete the mission

That Jesus and John STARTED=we are

THE MODERN DAY=21^st century APOSTLES

 

BE LIEVE IT=we are MADE

To SERVE our God=in LOVE

CHOSEN BY GOD!=we are

 

In Jesus’ name= and in the name of OUR FOREVER LOVING Holy Father God=and his FAMILY=which

We are PART OF!
