(TO LIVE LIKE JESUS)

 

I see all=these HATEFUL POSTS

On social media=TO EXCLUDE

This group=or that group of people

 

I HATE to tell you this

But that is just WRONG=BY GOD’S STANDARDS

By Jesus’ standards

 

And in CHAPTER TEN=of

Saint Luke’s gospel=Jesus

GIVES us a wonderful example=of

JUST WHO MY NEIGHBOR IS

 

OUR NEIGHBOR=my friends

IS EVERYONE=and we should love them

LOVE GOD=LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR

The two commandments of Jesus

The two commandments=of GOD HIMSELF

 

HAVING THE COURAGE=

(To LIVE like Jesus)=or at least try

 

“IT IS ENOUGH=for the disciple

That he BECOME=like his teacher…….”                                                                                     Matthew 10:25

 

Every day=IF we are a true CHRISTIAN

A true DISCIPLE=of Christ=we

Are CALLED to LIVE a life

IN IMITATION=of Jesus Christ

 

HAVING THE COURAGE!=to

Live like Jesus

 

“LET ME LIVE=that I may praise you=

And may your laws=sustain me”                                                                                        Psalm 119:175

 

“For in the gospel==the righteousness of God

Is revealed--------a righteousness that is by faith

From first to last=just as it is written=

‘The righteous will=LIVE BY FAITH’”                                                                              Romans 1:17

 

“The life=I now live

In the body=I LIVE BY FAITH

In the Son of God

Who loved me=and gave himself=for me”                                                                         Galatians 2:20

 

We are called to=

LIVE with the qualities=that Jesus had

To live=with HUMILITY=with kindness

And with forgiveness and compassion

 

We are CALLED=to live

With the COURAGE of Jesus=

HAVING THE COURAGE=

(To live like Jesus)

 

“Be strong=AND COURAGEOUS=

Do not be afraid=or terrified=because of them

For the Lord your God=goes with you

He will never leave you=Nor forsake you”                                                                                Deuteronomy 31:6

 

“Be on your guard=

Stand firm=in the faith

BE COURAGEOUS=be strong

Do everything=IN LOVE”                                                                                                          1 Corinthians 16:13

 

Yes=do everything=IN LOVE

That is what Jesus did=that is

What we should do too

 

HAVING THE COURAGE!=

((To Live Like Jesus)=a life

That is=FULL OF LOVE

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=OF OUR ALWAYS LOVING=forever living=Holy Father God!
