OUR LEGACIES

 

WHEN someone dies=it can

BRING about the worst in us=

ABOUT=who gets what

 

RESENTMENT=can come

Blowing through us=and there

CAN be a family rift

 

“WHICH of my SONS=

Are you?”                                                                                                                                    Genesis 27:18

 

TODAY we read about

THE RIFT=between

Jacob and Esau

 

Esau=is older

But Jacob=the younger SON

Is getting the REWARDS=and now he is

About to get=THE BLESSING TOO

 

“First he took away=MY BIRTHRIGHT

And now he has=

TAKEN AWAY MY BLESSING”                                                                                              Genesis 27:36

 

But=if we are LIVING RIGHT

We are leaving LOVE BEHIND=and God

To our FAMILIES

 

OUR BLESSING=OUR INHERITANCE

Is the LOVE we get form=OUR FATHER GOD

And the love=we get

From our EARTHLY FAMILIES

 

OUR LEGACIES=are

The LOVE we receive=and

The love=we LEAVE BEHIND

 

“…….but SHOWING LOVE=

To a thousand generations=of those

Who LOVE ME=and keep my commandments”                                                                       Deuteronomy 5:10

 

“It was your right hand=your arm

And the light=of your face

For you=LOVED THEM”                                                                                                            Psalm 44:3

 

“Whoever has my commands=and

Keeps them=is

The one=WHO LOVES ME

 

The one=who loves me=

WILL BE LOVED=by my Father

And I too=WILL LOVE THEM=and

Show myself to them”                                                                                                                 John 14:21

 

When we

Are=FIGHTING OVER MONEY=fighting

OVER our inheritance=the cost

Is great=for the FAMILY SPLINTERS

 

“The beginning of wisdom=is this

Get wisdom=though IT COST

All you have=get understanding”                                                                                            Proverbs 4:7

 

“He said to me’=It is done

‘I am the Alpha=the BEGINNING=

And the End=to the thirsty

 

I will give water=WITHOUT COST

From the spring of=

The water of life’”                                                                                                                    Revelation 21:6

 

TAKING STOCK=of what

We leave behind=IS NOT EASY

 

But if=OUR LEGACY IS LOVE

It will LAST=FOREVER AND EVER=if

We have=GOD IN THE DETAILS

 

And in our hearts=it

Will LAST FOREVER

 

What will=BE THE LEGACY=

You leave behind=IN THIS WORLD?

I hope that your=LEGACY IS LOVE=and I HOPE

Mine is GOD and LOVE TOO

 

Just like=what OUR PARENTS

Left my two sisters and me

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving=Holy Father God!
