FRIEND=TEACHER=AND LORD!

 

Mary Magdalene=was

Jesus’ BEST FRIEND=his pupil=and

AFTER he resurrected=she called him LORD

 

“Mary Magdalene=went to

The disciples=with the news=

‘I have SEEN THE LORD’”                                                                                                             John 20:18

 

Jesus did not want Mary=

To touch her=because=he had not yet

RESURRECTED to the Father

 

“Jesus said=’DO NOT

Hold on to me=for I have

Not yet=ASCENDED=to the Father’”                                                                                 John 20:17

 

Do you see OUR Jesus as your FRIEND?

Do you see him=as a teacher?=

AS YOUR LORD?

 

Like Mary Magdalene=I see Jesus

As all three=Jesus tells us

 

He is OUR FRIEND=and he is OUR TEACHER

And through his life=the Scriptures

And HIS WORDS=he becomes OUR LORD

He is=OUR FRIEND=OUR TEACHER=and

OUR LORD!=For Mary Magdalene=for

ALL the apostles=and for me=as well as

FOR the entire world=

WHO is he for you?

 

“You are MY FRIENDS=if

You do=what I command=I no longer

Call you servants=

 

Because a servant=does not know

His master’s business=Instead

I HAVE CALLED YOU FRIENDS”                                                                                                  John 15:14-15

 

And he is=OUR FRIEND=because

He lays down=HIS LIFE for us=What greater friend

Could we have than that?

“Greater love=has no one than this=

To lay down=one’s life=FOR HIS FRIENDS”                                                                        John 15:13

 

Like Mary Magdalene=and the other apostles=

He is OUR TEACHER too==for he

Gives us Scripture=and the WORD OF GOD

And he teaches us EXACTLTY HOW

We should live our lives=by giving us his LIFE

Through a life of service

 

“The student=is not=AVOVE THE TEACHER

Nor a servant=above his master”                                                                                       Matthew 10:24

 

And those MASTERFUL WORDS=he uses

TO TEACH US=last forever

“Heaven and earth=will pass away

BUT MY WORDS=will never pass away”                                                                       Matthew 24:35

 

But in addition=to FRIEND AND TEACHER

Just like Mary Magdalene

 

Jesus will forever be=MY LORD

He will forever be=THE GOD/man

The example=by which I will live

 

“Why do you call me=’Lord-Lord’

And not do=what I say?”                                                                                                   Luke 6:46

 

Like Mary Magdalene=Jesus will be

MY LORD FOREVER=in addition to

My friend and my teacher=THE EXAMPLE

By which I LIVE

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=Of our FOREVER LIVING=FOREVER LOVING=Holy Father God!
