GREATER THAN JOHAH!=THE LIVING SIGNS OF GOD AND JESUS

 

GREATER THAN JONAH!=

(The LIVING SIGNS=of God and Jesus)

 

Do you KNOW=the story of Jonah?=on

How God commissioned him to PREACH to

The Ninevites=and how Jonah does NOT want to

 

He tries to flee=and run from God=and winds up

SPENDING=three days in the belly of a fish=a whale

Our Holy Father God=has a LESSON for Jonah

And for us=Jesus is

SPEAKING to the crowd=and they say=they request

A MIRACULOUS SIGN=Listen to Jesus’ response

 

“As the crowds increased=Jesus said=

‘This is a wicked generation=it ASKS for a SIGN=

But none will be given it=except the Sign of Jonah’”                                                           Luke 11:29

 

Jesus is=THE LIVING SIGN of God

For that generation=and for ours=He tells the

Crowd this=IN A FORSHADOWING

From the story of Jonah=3 days

 

“For as Jonah=was a SIGN to the Ninevites

So also=will also the SON OF MAN=to this generation”                                                               Luke 11:30

 

Jonah spent three days=in the belly of a fish=and LIVED

Jesus spent 3 days=in the belly of the earth=only

TO LIVE AND BE RESURRECTED=He is GREATER THAN Jonah

He is=the LIVING SON OF GOD

 

He is the LIVING SIGN=for his generation

For our generation=and for ALL generations

To come=GOD IS LIVING=GOD IS LIFE

He is GREATER THAN JONAH!

 

“By them=your servant is warned=in

Keeping them=there is GREAT REWARD”                                                                                  Psalm 19:11

 

“FOR GREAT=is your love=higher than

The heavens=Your faithfulness reaches=to the skies”                                                             Psalm 108:4

 

“Not so with you=Instead whoever wants to

BECOME GREAT=among you=must be your servant”                                                             Mark 10:43

 

Jesus Christ=IS the transforming presence=for our world

Who is=THE SIGN for all people=of life=WHY=do the people

Of our generation=Put their faith in money=in guns=and

IN sex=drugs and alcohol?=rather than

THE LIVING Holy Father God and his Son=Jesus Christ?

 

Dear friend=we are SLAVES to our times=we are

LIVING out of selfishness and pride=rather than

Listening to GOD’S WILL=Jesus=the LIVING GOD

And HIS FATHER=are greater than Jonah

 

“Have you not read=what God said to you?=

‘I am=the God of Abraham= the God of Isaac=and

The God of Jacob=He is not=the God of the dead=

BUT OF THE LIVING’”                                                                                                                     Matthew 22:32

 

“Therefore=I urge you=brothers and sisters=

In view of God’s mercy=to offer your bodies

As a LIVING SACRIFICE=holy and pleasing to God-------

This is your true and proper worship”                                                                                       Romans 12:1

 

Living human ways=living with human gods=Instead

Of the LIVING GOD=Our Holy Father God and Jesus=will

Lead to self-destruction and death=the PATHWAY TO LIFE

Is following the LIVING GOD=OF LOVE=Our Holy Father

God and Jesus Christ=for they are

GREATER THAN THE SIGN OF JONAH

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=FOREVER LOVING

Holy Father God!
