USING TIME AND ENERGY=THIS LENT

 

USING TIME AND ENERGY

(This Lent)

 

It is ALWAYS=a good time=to

SERVE THE LORD=it is=always a good time

TO USE OUR TIME AND ENERGY=to serve other people

USING our time and energy=TO SERVE God

And others this Lent

 

“Is not=this the kind of fasting=I

Have chosen=to loose the chains of injustice

And untie=the cords of the yoke=to

SET THE OPPRESSED FREE=and break every yoke?”                                                               Isaiah 58:6

 

We NEED to live our lives=with an OPENNESS

To serve our God=and to SERVE OTHER PEOPLE

Especially this Lent=We should be LIVING

That way anyway=USING OUR TIME AND ENERGY

This Lent=Sacrificing for our God

 

We are to=USE OUR TIME AND ENERGY

To help others=USING OUR TIME AND OUR ENERGY

This Lent=Being USEFUL for the Lord

 

“Those who cleanse themselves=from the latter

Will be instruments=for special purposes=Made holy

USEFUL to the Master=and prepared to do

Any good work”                                                                                                                     2 Timothy 2:21

 

“All Scripture=is God-breathed=AND IS USEFUL

For teaching=rebuking=correcting=and training

In righteousness= so that the SERVANT of God

May be=thoroughly equipped=for every good work”                                                                 2 Timothy 3:16

 

We are SERVANTS OF GOD=we are to love God

With our WHOLE selves=and to SERVE OTHERS

Especially during Lent

USING OUR TIME AND ENERGY=This Lent

For others=for God=Being=SERVANTS OF GOD

 

“So you also=when you have done everything

You were told to do=should say=’We are=UNWORTHY SERVANTS

We have only done our duty’”                                                                                                            Luke 17:10

 

“I no longer=CALL YOU SERVANTS=because

A SERVANT=does not know his master’s business=

Instead=I have called you friends=for everything

That I learned from my Father=I have made

Known to you”                                                                                                                               John 15:15

 

“SERVE WHOLEHEARTEDLY=as if you were

SERVING the Lord=not people=because you know

That the Lord=will reward each one=for whatever

Good they do=whether they are slave or free”                                                                           Ephesians 6:7

 

And so my dear brothers and sisters=USE

YOUR TIME AND ENERGY=to help others this Lent

For whenever you are HELPING OTHER=you

Are helping God

 

VISIT a sick neighbor=CALL a homebound friend=

Take someone to the Doctor’s=or grocery shopping

Just let others KNOW=you are there for them

HELP others this Lent

USING OUR TIME AND ENERGY=this Lent

To help others

 

For when you=ARE SACRIFICING YOURSELF=for others

You are=SACRIFICING yourself=for the Holy Father God!

 

USING YOUR TIME AND ENERGY=for others=This Lent

In Jesus’ name=and IN the name=of our Holy Father God=who is

FOREVER HELPING OTHERS!
