WAITING FOR THE LORD

 

WAITING FOR THE LORD                   

 

Do you get TIRED=of WAITING

For the Lord=to ANSWER your prayers?=

I know I do=But I know our Holy Father God

And his Son Jesus=HEAR ME=they HEAR

The prayers we are SENDING

 

But we don’t always=get those IMMEDIATE ANSWERS

We just have to WAIT=for we know HE WILL ANSWER=

His TIMING is perfect and impeccable

WAITING FOR THE LORD!

 

“Now there was a man=In Jerusalem=whose name

Was Simeon=This man was RIGHTEOUS and  devout=

AWAITING the consolation of Israel=and

The Holy Spirit was upon him”                                                                                           Luke 2:25

 

“He said to them=It is=NOT for you

To know the times or dates=the Father

Has set=by his own authority”                                                                                                Acts 1:7

 

And it is=THE SAME WAY=for

THE ANSWERS=to our prayers

 

It is=not up to us=WHEN OR HOW

Our prayers will be answered=just

WAITING ON THE LORD!

 

Simeon WAITED his whole life=to MEET

The Lord=and finally he did=at the PRESENTATION

HIS PROMISE WAS FULFILLED

 

And the prophetess Anna=ADVANCED in years=

Waited for the Lord too=THEY WAITED=worshiped

Fasted and PRAYED=sometimes we have to

WAIT FOR A LIFETIME=for our dreams=to come TRUE

WAITING ON THE LORD=for the Answers

To our PRAYERS

 

“WAIT for the Lord=be strong and take heart

And WAIT=for the Lord”                                                                                                        Psalm 27:14

 

“I WAITED PATIENTLY=for the Lord

He turned to me=and heard my cry”                                                                                       Psalm 40:1

 

“For the Lord=is a GOD of justice=

Blessed are all=who WAIT FOR HIM”                                                                             Isaih 30:18

 

Jesus had to WAIT=and go through living hell

To CHANGE THE WORLD=Simeon had to WAIT

For his promise to turn out=Anna had to wait

A LIFETIME=to meet the Lord=we have to WAIT

For everything in life

 

At the bank=at the grocery store=at the Doctor’s

Office=WHY should we not have to WAIT

For the Lord?=Why should we NOT WAIT

For the answers to our prayers?

 

The Lord answers prayers=in three WAYS

Yes=No=and NOT RIGHT NOW=wait for awhile

WAITING FOR THE LORD!

 

“……..and WAIT=for his Son=from heaven

Whom he raised from the dead--------Jesus

Who rescues us=from the coming wrath”                                                                            1 Thessalonians 1:10

 

And so dear Lord=As we PRAY to you

For the ANSWERS=to our prayers=and

For the SECOND COMING=we PRAY FOR PATIENCE=to

Keep on waiting for you=and your AMAZING PRESENCE

 

Simeon did it=Anna did it=and your SON=Jesus did it

We can HOLD ON too=Just like them

WAITING FOR THE LORD!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER LIVING=ever answering

Holy Father God!
