THE RESTORER=OF LOST THINGS

(God and Jesus)

 

Have you EVER lost anything=in life?=

Almost your life=your health=your finances=

Or an IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIP?=Like a marriage=

Or someone CLOSE to you=in life=or in death

 

I imagine you have=WE ALL have lost things=

And more importantly=we all have LOST PEOPLE

In relationships

But STAY CLOSE to God and Jesus=They are

THE RESTORER=OF LOST THINGS

 

“REPAIRER=of the breach’=they shall call you=

‘RESTORER=of ruined homelands’”                                                                                 Isaiah 58:12

 

ALL=we have to do=is LOOK=at the story

Of JOB=He lost everything=EVERYTHING in the end

But after the test=God GAVE him everything back

And then some

“After Job=had PRAYED for his friends=the Lord

RESTORED his fortunes=and gave him TWICE as much

As he had before

 

ALL his brothers and sisters==and everyone who

Had known him=came and ate with him in his house

They comforted and consoled him

 

Over all the trouble=The LORD had brought

On him=and each one gave him a piece of silver

And gold ring”                                                                                                                         Job 42:10-11

 

I am a LOT LIKE Job=I have come within an INCH

Of losing my life=a NUMBER of times=I have

LOST numerous jobs=and RELATIONSHIPS with women

Because of my health

 

But in the END=God has given me=THROUGH

All of you=so much more than=I ever COULD

Have accomplished on my own

FOR OUR GOD=Our Jesus is

THE RESTORER OF ALL LOST THINGS!

 

“RESTORE to me=the joy of your salvation=and

Grant me a willing spirit=to sustain me”                                                                   Psalm 51:12

 

“Brothers and sisters=if someone is caught

In a sin=You who live by the Spirit=should RESTORE

That person gently”                                                                                                        Galatians 6:1

 

WHENEVER we lose someone=or something

We NEED to take a step back=from our own

PERSONAL TROUBLES=and take a DEEPER longer look

At GOD’S PLAN=for our lives

 

It may HURT=and be PAINFUL=in the short run

(Physically=emotionally=and spiritually)=every which way

But God=will pick us BACK UP=after all=our God

Our Jesus are=THE RESTORER OF LOST THINGS

 

“Unless the Lord=BUILDS the house=the builders

Labor in vain=Unless the Lord watches over

The city=the guard stands watch in vain”                                                                                Psalm 127:1

 

“Now I commit you=to God=and to the word

Of his grace=which can BUILD YOU UP=and give you

An inheritance=among all those=who are sanctified”                                                              Acts 20:32

 

“We all possess knowledge=but knowledge puffs up=

WHILE LOVE BUILDS UP”                                                                                                     1 Corinthians 8:1

 

So HANG IN there=my dear brothers and sisters=

KEEP your FAITH in God=no matter what=YOU HAVE LOST

Even if it is everything=like our brother Job

 

IF=your heart’s desire=is SLOW in coming

TAKE HEART=You are not forgotten=for our

Holy Father God=our Jesus=are miracle workers

They are=THE RESTORER OF LOST THINGS!
