HE WAS READY=ARE WE?

 

HE WAS READY=ARE WE--------?

 

Jesus=had 30 years of LIFE=to PREPARE

For his public ministry=and his dealing with

The people=of his TIME=and his service for them

And his ultimate savage crucifixion

 

We have=ALL OUR LIFE=to get CLOSE to God

And prepare our lives for death=and SHARING

ETERNITY with him=and the Holy Father God

HE WAS READY=ARE WE?

 

“This is the TIME OF FULFILLMENT=The kingdom

Of God is at hand”                                                                                                                  Mark 1:15

 

Yes=the Kingdom of God=IS AT HAND

Every day=of our lives=are we=DRAWING CLOSER

To Jesus=through Scriptures and prayers=every day

Of our lives==HE=JESUS WAS READY=ARE WE?

 

Jesus PREPARED=for his preaching time=BY SPENDING

A 40 day retreat=in the desert=with the Holy Father God

 

So he could be=PREACHING GOSPEL VALUES=to

The people of his time=and HOW to live their lives

To prepare for his mission

 

WHAT are we doing=in life=TO PREPARE for

OUR CHRISTIAN MESSAGE=of loving God=of

Loving others=in this life

HE WAS READY=ARE WE?

 

“YOU PREPARE=a table for me

In the presence= of my enemies=You anoint

My head with oil=my cup overflows”                                                                           Psalm 23:5

 

“Therefore this is=what I will do to you

Israel=and because I will do this to you Israel=

PREPARE=to meet your God”                                                                                                   Amos 4:12

 

“My Father’s house=has many rooms=

If that were not so=would I have told you that

I am going there=TO PREPARE=a place for you?”                                                   John 14:2

 

Are we spending TIME ALONE=with God

And Jesus?=Are we PREPARING OURSELVES in love=

In kindness=and in forgiveness=by praying daily

By READING SCRIPTURES DAILY=to spend eternity

With our God and Lord

Jesus=HE was ready=Are we?

 

READY for our journey=for our mission

In this life=with our GOD?

 

Jesus had a SACRED PLAN=for his life

His challenging MESSAGE caused others=to react with

Accusations=threats=and violence=and despite everything

HE PREPARED the way for us

HE WAS READY=he was prepared=ARE WE READY

And PREPARED?

 

“What no eye has seen=what no ear=has heard

And what no human mind=has conceived-------=

The things=God HAS PREPARED for those

Who love him--------”                                                                                                            1 Corinthians 2:9

 

“For we are=God’s handiwork=Created

In Christ Jesus=to do good works=which God

HAS PREPARED=in advance=for us to do”                                                                      Ephesians 2:10

 

Today=we are the PEOPLE CALLED

To live=Jesus’ mission of love=in this world

 

We have been=CALLED to fulfill the

MESSAGE of love=in this world=and then

We are TO SPEND ETERNITY=with our

Holy Father God and his Son=Christ Jesus

 

This Lent=is our 40 day retreat=to spend

With Jesus=in the desert=HE IS READY=ARE WE?--------=

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER READY=and prepared

Holy Father God
