LOVE IS OUR COMPASS!

 

LOVE IS OUR COMPASS!

(This Ash Wednesday=this Valentines Day=and

EVERY single day=of our lives)

 

It is so easy=to GET LOST=in this world

It is so easy=TO FORGET=who we are=and

What we are to be ALL ABOUT!

 

Then we remember=to LOVE GOD=to LOVE OTHERS

And it all=comes back to us=as to=WHO WE ARE

And what we are to be about=we are CHILDREN OF GOD=

And LOVE is our command=HOW FITTING

We remember this on Valentines Day=a day FILLED

With love=LOVE IS OUR COMPASS!

 

“Even now=says the Lord=RETURN to me

With your whole heart=with fasting=and weeping=

And mourning……..

 

For gracious and MERCIFUL is he=slow to anger

Rich in kindness=and relenting in punishment”                                                                     Joel 2:12-13

 

Jesus was=THE GREATEST LOVER=of all time=he Loved

EVERYONE==every single one of us=how fitting it is

That Ash Wednesday=and Valentines Day=are on the same day

This year=so that we can make our LENTEN JOUREY

With so much love

 

Jesus is OUR COMPASS=IN LOVE

Love is our compass=our direction=for where we are to Go

LOVE directs our paths=it is our guide=LOVE IS OUR COMPASS!

 

“DIRECT ME=in the path=of your commands=

For there=I find delight”                                                                                                     Psalm 119:35

 

“DIRECT my footsteps=according to your word

Let no sin=rule over me”                                                                                                         Psalm 119:133

 

“May the Lord=DIRECT YOUR HEARTS

Into God’s love=and Christ’s perseverance”                                                                 2 Thessalonians 3:5

 

This Lent=may we all BELIEVE=we are

On a journey=with the Lord=for 40 days and

40 nights=and may we all BLELIEVE that LOVE
IS OUR COMPASS=just like it was FOR JESUS

 

Let us PICK UP our crosses=as we TRAVEL

With Jesus this Lent=and FIND that love does

LIVE in our hearts=and in every heart in this world

LOVE IS OUR COMPASS!=Love directs our footsteps

On our journey=and Jesus walks withs us=as

We TRAVEL with him this LENT

LOVE IS OUR COMPASS!=it does indeed GUIDE US!

 

“…….But SHOWING LOVE=to a thousand generations=of those

WHO LOVE ME=and keep my commandments”                                                                   Deuteronomy 5:10         

 

“Let your face=shine on your servant=

Save me=IN YOUR UNFAILING LOVE”                                                                           Psalm 31:16

 

“Lord=the God of heaven=the great and

Awesome God=who keeps his=COVENANT OF LOVE

With those who LOVE him=

and keep his commandments”                                                                                            Nehemiah 1:5

 

And so today=ON THIS VALENTINES DAY

This February 14^th=let LOVE=be your guide

LET LOVE=and Jesus=BE YOUR COMPASS!=on this

Journey through Lent=and on ASH WEDNESDAY

And these 40 days=may we travel=with the Lord

 

May we FIND LOVE in the Lord=and others

This Lent=this journey with Jesus=FOR LOVE=

LOVE IS OUR COMPASS

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our forever living=forever loving

FOREVER GUIDING=Holy Father God!
