LOOKING FOR GLIMPSES=OF JESUS

 

Do you SEE=the face of Jesus=in

EVERYONE that you meet?=everyone

You talk to=EVERY SINGLE DAY?

I have=SOME NEWS for you=that is

AS CHRISTIANS=what we are supposed to do

 

Seeing=LOOKING FOR GLIMPSES=OF JESUS

Glimpses of God=in everyone that we meet

 

“Then they will ANSWER=and say’=’Lord=when did we

SEE=you hungry or thirsty=or a stranger=or naked

Or ill=or in prison=and not minister to your needs?’”                                                            Matthew 25:44

 

Sometimes=it is EASY to see Jesus=To see him

IN OUR FAMILY=our close friends=our children=

Our grandchildren=is not so hard

 

But HOW about the difficult people=How

About the indifferent=how about the angry

THOSE who are afraid=the fearful ones

 

LOOKING FOR GLIMPSES=of Jesus=in everyone

INCLUDING the prisoners=including the refugees

INCLUDING the sick and the dying

For they ALL=BELONG to God too=there

But for the GRACE OF GOD=GO I

 

Jesus will say=

“Truly I tell you=whatever you DID NOT DO

For one of the least=of these=You

DID NOT DO FOR ME”                                                                                                    Matthew 25:45

 

TAKING CARE of those in need=Taking care

Of those who need HELP=LOOKING FOR GLIMPSES

Of Jesus=in every human face IN NEED

Looking for=Helping them in need

LIVING THE BEATITUDES!

 

Jesus was in need=at birth=at death

WHO was there=to help him?

 

“Do not be like them=for your FATHER knows

WHAT YOU NEED=before you ask him”                                                                               Matthew 6:8

 

‘Share with the Lord’s people=

Practice hospitality”                                                                                                             Romans 12:13

 

“If anyone has material possessions=and SEES

A brother or sister=IN NEED=but has no pity

On them=how can the love of God=be

In that person?”                                                                                                                      1 John 3:17

 

I have six CORE BELIEFS=of my faith

I live my life by=LIVING THE BEATITUDES

Is one of them

 

It is so awful to be hungry=and thirsty=I

Have been there many times myself=IN THE HOSPITAL=for

Weeks at a time=when I was only allowed a cup

Of ICE CHIPS every 4 hours

 

GIVE DRINK to the thirsty=Give food to the hungry

Clothes to the naked=and COMFORT AND CARE

To the sick and the dying

LOOKING FOR GLIMPSES=of Jesus=in EVERYONE!

Helping those that we can

 

“The Lord=will guide you always

He will=SATISFY YOUR NEEDS=in a

Sun-scorched land=and strengthen your frame”                                                               Isaiah 58:11

 

“And my God=WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS=according

To=the riches of his glory=in Christ Jesus”                                                                               Philippians 4:19

 

My dear friends=it is so awful=to BE IN NEED

Of the BASICS=in this world=REACH OUT

And help someone=if you can=IF WE all did

Something=what a FANTASTIC WORLD=this would be              

 

LOOKING FOR GLIMPSES=OF JESUS in every

Single person that we meet

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving=and

OUR FOREVER HELPING=Holy Father God
