OPENING UP TO=

(The Lord’s WORLD)

 

It is HARD=to hear GOD’S WORD

In this world=some of us have HEARING PROBLEMS

And most of us=just are NOT LISTENING

We just=don’t want to LISTEN

 

Today we read about=ANOTHER of Jesus’ MIRACLES

About a man=who was DEAF=but God=Jesus

Performed a MIRACLE for him

 

Some PEOPLE = brought Jesus a man=who was DEAF

And could hardly speak=and they BEGGED Jesus

To HEAL HIM

 

“After he took him aside=away from the crowd

Jesus put his fingers=Into the man’s EARS-then he spit

And touched the man’s tongue

 

He LOOKED UP to heaven=and with a deep sigh

Said to him=’Ephphatha’=which means=BE OPENED

 

At this=the man’s ears were OPENED==his tongue was

Loosened=and he began to speak plainly”                                                                                Mark 7:33-35

 

If only it was=THIS EASY for Jesus=with

The people of this world and country=WE

Are all so DAMN HARD HEARTED=we don’t want

TO OPEN UP=to the Lord’s world=we don’t want to

OPEN our hearts=our minds=and our souls=to

THE WAYS of the Lord

 

If we did=this world=our country=would not

Have half the problems=that it does

 

OPEN UP=to the Lord’s world

OPENING UP=to HEAR God’s words=HEARING

The world of God=OPENING UP

To=OUR LORD’S WORLD

 

“……..if my people=who are called by my name

Will humble themselves=and pray=and seek my face

 

And turn=from their wicked ways==then

I WILL HEAR=from heaven=and I will forgive

Their sin=and will heal their land”                                                                                               2 Chronicles 7:14

 

“In that day=the deaf=WILL HEAR

The words of the scroll=and out of the gloom and

Darkness=the eyes of the blind=WILL SEE”                                                                         Isaiah 29:18

 

“For all the Prophets=and the Law

Prophesied until John=and if you are willing

To accept it=he is the Elijah=who was to come=

Whoever has ears=LET THEM HEAR”                                                                                     Matthew 11:13-15

 

It is EASY=to let this world=and all

Of its problems=DROWN OUT God’s voice=it

Is easy not to LISTEN TO GOD

 

It takes=a LITTLE EFFORT=to HEAR God’s words

And to live them=IN this crazy mixed up world

That we live in=we need to

 

OPEN UP =to God’s words=in this world

We need to LIVE=by the Word of God=in this world

 

“If I were hungry=I would not tell you=FOR THE WORLD

Is mine=and all that is in it”                                                                                                         Psalm 50:12

 

“I have told you these things=so that in me

You may have peace=IN THIS WORLD

You will have trouble=but take heart!=I have

OVERCOME THE WORLD”                                                                                                     John 16:33

 

Jesus did=OVERCOME the world=and death itself

To become OUR LIVING GOD=ALONG WITH Our Holy

Father God=in heaven=Dear Lord=we PRAY

 

“Ephphatha!”=Be opened=so we CAN HEAR

The Word of God=in our world=and country too

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving

Forever HEARING=Holy Father God!
