NOW WE REMEMBER!

 

NOW WE REMEMBER!

 

The disciples=DON’T seem to remember

Who Jesus is=Do we REMEMBER or understand

Any more today?

 

But Jesus CHALLENGES them to remember=as

He challenges US=to remember=he gives them

AN EXAMPLE=He reminds them how he FED

Thousands of people=with five loaves of bread

DON’T THEY/WE REMEMBER?

 

“’Do you have eyes=but fail to see=and ears

But fail to hear?=AND DON’T YOUR REMEMBER?

When I broke the five loaves=for the five thousand=how

MANY=basketful of pieces=did you pick up?’

‘Twelve’=they replied

 

‘And when I broke the seven loaves=for the

Four thousand=how many basketful of pieces=

Did you pick up?’

‘Seven’=they relied

 

He said to them=’Do you still

NOT UNDERSTAND?’”                                                                                                       Mark 8:18-21

 

WHEN we are doubtful of our FAITH=or

When we are having difficulties=we NEED TO REMEMBER

Who God is=we need to REMEMBER=who Jesus is

NOTING IS IMPOSSIBLE=for our God

We just need to REMEMBER

NOW WE REMEMBER!

 

“REMEMBER=the wonders=he has done

His miracles=and the judgments=he pronounced”                                                            1 Chronicles 16:12

 

“REMEMBER YOUR CREATOR=in the days of

Your youth=before the days of trouble come”                                                           Ecclesiastes 12:1

 

“I thank my God=every time=I REMEMBER YOU=In

All my prayers=for all of you=I always pray=with joy

Because of=your partnership in the gospel

From the first days=until now”                                                                                          Philippians 1:3

 

We need to REMEMBER=all the times=our God

And our Jesus=SHOWED UP for us=and helped us

IN THE PAST

 

We need to remember=that he is LIKELY to be there

For us again=We need to remember ALL the times

In our life=WHEN God and Jesus came through for us

NOW WE REMEMBER!=NOW WE UNDERSTAND!

This God of LOVE=will always be there for us

 

“He provides food=for those who fear him

HE REMEMBERS HIS COVENANT FOREVER”                                                                              Psalm 111:5

 

“I=even I=am he who blots out=your transgressions

For my own sake=AND REMEMBERS=your sins no more”                                              Isaiah 43:25

 

God has showed us=SO MANY TIMES

In our lives=In the past=and he will do so again

How he has WORKED MIRACLES=in our life

We need to remember=who is in CONTROL

The apostles and disciples eventually did=WHEN

They thought about Jesus’ past MIRACLES

 

We will eventually get it too=when we think about

The past=and our miracles=Just keep TRUSTING

In the Lord=again and again

 

Dear Lord=we pray=help us=TO ALWAYS REMEMBER

Your faithfulness and trust=in our lives=and

COME TO UNDERSTAND You=and how you love us

And are ALWAYS PRESENT=in our lives

NOW I REMEMBER!=NOW WE REMEMBER!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our forever living=forever loving=EVER

MIRACLE WORKING=Holy Father God!
