CHRISTMAS CHANGES EVERYTHING!


Who would have ever thought
The COMING of a little baby
In a manger=would CHANGE everything
In the world=FOREVER?


Here we are on the
TWELFTH day of Christmas=
On the verge of the EPIPHANY=
And STILL feeling the LOVE
Of that little baby


“Children=let us LOVE not in word
Or speech
But in deed and TRUTH” 1 John 3:18


On the twelfth day of
Christmas=of course=we KNOW
That the 12 drummers drumming
REPRESENT the twelve APOSTLES
Who carried on JESUS' LOVE


And Saint John
Tells us that LOVE is
The GIFT
That keeps on giving


That is WHY Christmas
Giving continues today=and
Should continue
EVERY DAY of our lives


Christmas CHANGES everything-
LOVE changes everything


That is why we should
Continue to FOLLOW Jesus=and
Continue to GIVE LOVE to others
In order
To CHANGE the world


“Truly I tell you
Unless you CHANGE-
And become
Like little children


You will never enter
The kingdom of heaven” Matthew 18:3


“EVERY good and perfect gift
IS from above-
Coming down
From the Father


Of the heavenly lights
Who does NOT CHANGE
Like shining shadows” James 1:17


And our PERFECT GIFT
From above is Jesus=the MESSENGER
Of perfect love-
Sent into our world
To CHANGE everything


And change everything he did=
BRINGING the essence of perfect love
Into the world


And in today's gospel
Jesus makes a PROMISE


“Amen-amen=I say to you
You will see the sky opened=
And the ANGELS of God
Ascending and descending
On the SON OF MAN” John 1:51


And Nathanael didn't believe
Him=he even questioned Jesus=
“Nazareth=can anything good
Come from there?” John 1:46


But Nathanael like us=
Is TRANSFORMED through Jesus-
Not to mention CHRISTMAS
“Rabbi=you are the
Son of God
You are the KING of Israel” John 1:49


And so Nathanael is TRANSFORMED
Just as we are transformed
By the coming
Of PERFECT LOVE
Into our world


“And we all
Who with unveiled faces
Contemplate the Lord's glory


Are being TRANSFORMED
Into his image


With-ever-increasing glory
Which comes from the Lord
Who is the SPIRIT” 2 Corinthians 3:18


And so on this TWELFTH day of Christmas
This 12^th day of perfect love


Let us RECOGNIZE
That CHRISTMAS CHANGES EVERYTHING-
That LOVE changes everything


Because Jesus LOVES us with a PERFECT LOVE=
FOREVER and ever amen


In Jesus' name and the name of God our EVERLASTING FATHER
