OUR CALL TO MINISTRY


John the Baptist
Was CALLED to ministry
To PREPARE the way
For the Lord


However=we are all called
To MINISTRY in some way=
Even if it is
Just to do
KIND DEEDS for our neighbor


To LEND a helping hand
Or to PRAY for others=
But we all have
Some TYPE of positive calling
In our life


It is UP TO US=to decide
Whether we will ACCEPT it
Or not


“John the Baptist
Saw Jesus coming toward him
And said=
'Behold-the LAMB of God
Who takes away
The sin of the world'” John 1:29


John the Baptist
Accepted his CALLING
And even gave up his life
For the cause


WILL YOU accept God's CALLING
In whatever way he is
Calling you in your life?


“With this in mind
We CONSTANTLY pray for you


That our God may make you
Worthy of his CALLING
And that by his power


He may bring to fruition
Your every desire
For GOODNESS


And your every deed
Prompted by faith” 2 Thessalonians 1:11


“Therefore-my brothers and sisters-
Make every effort to confirm
Your CALLING and election


For if you do these things
You will never stumble........” 2 Peter 1:10


My dear FRIENDS
I pray for you
That you will ACCEPT
Your CALLING in life=
The way that John did


Our CALLS aren't always exciting=
Sometimes it is just TAKING CARE
Of a chronically ill relative


Or working in a
Homeless shelter=or even
DRIVING someone to the Doctor's


We are CALLED to ministry
In a different way
In life


However you are CALLED=
I PRAY that you step up
And ACCEPT your CALLING-
Accept your ministry


May we all say YES
When called=
And may we all feel BLESSED
When we accept our CALLING


“BLESSED are those
Who act justly
Who always DO
What is right” Psalm 106:3


Dear Lord=I/we pray
That you open our eyes


So that we ACCEPT
Whatever our CALLING IS=
Whatever our ministry is
In today's world


In Jesus' name and in the name of our LOVING/everlasting FATHER
