NOT JUST ANOTHER DAY

NOT JUST ANOTHER DAY

Our sabbath day=is NOT
Just another day=it is a
DAY for us to welcome
The Lord into our HEARTS-
ALL DAY LONG

For most of us=the day
Is Sunday=but for our
JEWISH FRIENDS=and some CHRISTIAN
Religions=like the Seventh Day Adventists=
It is Saturday

I admire those who are
DILIGENT in keeping their FAITH=
We NEED to try and have
That same
Identity and PRACTICE

“Is it lawful to do GOOD
On the sabbath
Rather then
To do evil

To SAVE LIFE
Rather than to destroy it?” Mark 3:4

I REMEMBER when I was young
Sunday was a day of REVERENCE
And most businesses
Were closed

But I=like many others
Have ALLOWED Sunday to
BE just another weekend day

We need to bring back
The REVERENCE
And make our SABBATH DAY
Another special day
In our lives

“But I=by your great LOVE
Can come
Into your house

In REVERENCE=I bow down
Toward your holy temple” Psalm 5:7

“Therefore-
Since we have these promises
Dear friends

Let us purify ourselves
From everything
That contaminates body and spirit

Perfecting holiness
OU OF REVERENCE for God” 2 Corinthians 7:1

“But in your hearts
REVERE Christ as Lord

Always be PREPARED
To give an answer
To everyone who asks you

To give reason
For the HOPE that you have” 1 Peter 3:15

My friends=whatever your SABBATH DAY is=
Saturday or Sunday
It is NOT just ANOTHER DAY

It is a SPECIAL DAY
For the Lord

For we are to be READY
Each and every day=
But particularly=the SABBATH DAY

To see the HOLY
To take action
And DO GOOD

“Observe the SABBATH DAY
Because it is
HOLY to you........” Exodus 31:14

“Observe the SABBATH DAY
By keeping it HOLY

As the Lord your God
Has commanded you” Deuteronomy 5:12

My dear friends
REMEMBER the sabbath day
Is a holy day

It is NOT JUST
ANOTHER DAY

Observe the sabbath
Do good and REST

Dear Lord=thank you
For this HOLY DAY
We PRAISE you and do SERVICE
In your name

In Jesus' name and in the name of HIS ALMIGHTY FATHER
