MAINTAINING CONFIDENCE IN GOD?


Are you
CONFIDENT IN GOD?
Are you CONFIDENT
That he is going
To ANSWER
All of your prayers=
POSITIVELY?


Of course not=
God DOESN'T WORK that way


“We have
This CONFIDENCE in him
That if we ask anything
According to his WILL-
He hears us” 1 John 5:14


IF you have ever PRAYED
And your prayers
Have NOT been heard


It is tough
To MAINTAIN that confidence
In God


Nevertheless=I KEEP my
APPOINTMENT with God=every day
In PRAYER=I believe God
ANSWERS our prayers in what
Is BEST for us
In living with others
IN TODAY'S WORLD


MAINTAINING CONFIDENCE IN GOD


“For the Lord
Detests the perverse


But takes the upright
INTO his CONFIDENCE” Proverbs 3:32


“In him and through FAITH
In him
We may approach God
With freedom and CONFIDENCE” Ephesians 3:12


“........who BOAST
In Christ Jesus
And who put NO CONFIDENCE
In the flesh--------


Though I myself
Have reasons
For such CONFIDENCE” Philippians 3:3-4


There are three ways
That God ANSWERS PRAYER
(“Yes-no-and NOT RIGHT NOW”)


And I have to
Tell you
That many of my prayer ANSWERS
Have been NO


But he answered YES=
To my MOST IMPORTANT=petition
When I asked God for life
On my deathbed
WHEN I was 22


So I am CONFIDENT
That God/Jesus answers YES
To me
When my prayers are in CONJUNCTION
With his plans
FOR MY LIFE


And I am sure he DOES=and
WILL DO=the same for you


It is a TRUE ACT of FAITH=
Not confidence=when we
Continue to REACH OUT to God
In PRAYER=
For ourselves and for others


Daily prayer is acting in
CONFIDENCE=and expectation
That God really does DO
What is right


It is FAITH in God
It is CONFIDENCE in God to
Continue to reach out in PRAYER


So continue to REACH OUT
IN PRAYER=to GOD


“BY FAITH
In the name of Jesus
The man whom you see


And know
Was made strong


It is Jesus' name and the FAITH
That comes through him
That has=COMPLETELY HEALED HIM
As you can all see” Acts 3:16


And it is my FAITH IN GOD
My CONFIDENCE in Jesus
That has kept me ALIVE
All these years


SURE=I have prayers
That haven't been answered=
But MANY THAT HAVE


I MAINTAIN MY CONFIDENCE
In God and Jesus=in prayer=
And with MY FAITH


In Jesus' name and in the NAME=of the LORD GOD ABOVE
