DON'T WORRY-PUT GOD FIRST


The ONE thing
That we ALL KNOW
We should do


Especially us Christians-
Especially those who BELIEVE
In God


Is to PUT GOD FIRST


For if we believe in God
Truly and sincerely
We know everything else
WILL take care of itself


The issue is that life comes along
And we get CAUGHT UP
In all that it brings


Health issues-Financial pressures-
And relationship setbacks


“Therefore-I tell you-
Do NOT worry about your life-
….....
CAN any of you by worrying
Add a single hour to your life?” Matthew 6:25, 27


We all like to be
In CONTROL
Of everything in our life


And the truth is
We CAN'T control anything


One bad health diagnosis
And our lives are turned upside down


“Anxiety weighs down
The heart


But a KIND word
Cheers it up” Proverbs 12:25


“Cast all your anxiety
On him-
Because he CARES for you” 1 peter 5:7


So if we get sick
If we lose our job
If we have an accident
Or make a mistake


We can just leave
Our worries with Jesus
We can PUT GOD FIRST
And do not worry


As hard as it is
We can GIVE up control
And trust in God


We can TRUST our heavenly Father
To provide for us


“Command those
Who are rich
In this present world
NOT to be arrogant


Nor to put their hope
In wealth


Which is so uncertain
But to
Put their HOPE IN GOD
Who richly provides us


With everything
For our enjoyment” 1 Timothy 6:17


“If anyone speaks
They should do so


With the STRENGTH God provides
So that in all things
God may be praised
Through Jesus Christ” 1 Peter 4:11


Jesus said:
“SEEK FIRST
The kingdom of God
And his righteousness
And ALL these things
WILL be given to you” Matthew 6:33


In other words-
DO NOT WORRY-
PUT GOD FIRST


And everything else
Will take care of itself
