ANYTHING BUT ORDINARY!
At first glance=
It appears it is
Just an ORDINARY MEETING
Between two pregnant women
But this meeting=is
ANYTHING BUR ORDINARY!
It was
Touched by the DIVINE
“Mary set out=and traveled to
The hill country-in haste…….”
Luke 1:39
Mary’s visit to Elizabeth
Is one of the few times
IN SCRIPTURE=where two women
Share the center stage
It appears ORDINARY=but it is
Anything but that
Mary appears “too young’
And Elizabeth “too old”
This meeting is anything=but ordinary
IT IS DIVINE
“For since the creation
Of the world=God’s invisible qualities-------
His eternal power and DIVINE NATURE-------
Have been clearly seen
Being understood-
From what has been made
So that people=are without excuse”
Romans 1:20
“Through these
He has given us
His very great=and precious promises
So that through them
You may participate
In the DIVINE NATURE
Having escaped the corruption
In the world=caused by evil desires”
2 Peter 1:4
BOTH women are pregnant
Under different
Yet GOD-ORDAINED circumstances
The child in Elizabeth’s womb
DANCES for joy=and at the sound
Of Mary’s voice
Elizabeth calls Mary
“BLESSED AMONG WOMEN”
ANYTHING BUT ORDINARY
This divine meeting is
“A longing FULFILLED-
Is sweet to the soul
But fools detest=turning from evil”
Proverbs 13:19
“Let no debt remain outstanding
Except the continuing debt
To love one another
For whoever loves others
Has FULFILLED the law”
Romans 13:8
This is a REMINDER
For all of us
To look beneath=the surface
Of ORDINARY people and events
For God WORKS through the ordinary
In this life
ANYTHING BUT ORDINARY!
In the names of Jesus=and our Holy Father God=who uses us
ALL=if we just let him!
