GOD IS CONTINUING=IN US
TODAY=we read about
The disciples=
And FINDING the empty tomb
THEY WERE ASTONISHED!
Who wouldn’t be?
“They have=Taken the Lord
From the tomb=
And we do not know
WHERE they put him” John
20:2
Can’t you just PICTURE
Peter=Mary Magdalene=and
The other unnamed disciple
LOOKING ASTONISHED?
They are THREE of Jesus’
Most faithful disciples
And Jesus’ WORK
Will continue through them
As it CONTINUES
To WORK through us
In this modern day 21st century
Jesus cured the lame=
Gave sight to the BLIND=
RAISED Lazarus from the dead
And I don’t doubt=
He PERFORMED even more miracles
Than we read about in the GOSPELS
God’s work CONTINUED
In the apostles=and it CONTINUES
In all of us today
“Therefore my dear friends
A you have always obeyed-------
Not only my presence=
But now much more
In my absence--------
CONTINUE to work out
Your salvation
With fear and trembling…….”
Philippians 2:12
“But as for you=CONTINUE
In what you have learned
And have
Become convinced of
Because you know those
From who you have learned it”
2 Timothy 3:14
Jesus continued to SURPRISE THEM
Who recognized him
As the SON of God
As he continues to surprise us
EVEN TODAY
GOD IS CONTINUING=TO WORK IN US!
“Let the one=
Who does right
CONTINUE to do right
And let the holy person
CONTINUE to be holy”
Revelation 22:11
We cannot fault=the disciples
For their ASTONISHMENT
For we are all astonished too
Just think about how many TIMES
We have been astonished
WHEN our prayers have been ANSWERED POSITIVELY
Even when we have
A VIGOROUS FAITH=and strong conviction
In the truth=OF THE GOSPELS
We are constantly in awe
HOW GOD ONTINUES=to act
In all of our lives
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our Holy Father God
WHO ALWAYS BLESSES US=In amazing ways
