In a popular movie

From the 1990’s-called “Jerry McGuire”

The central characters-played by Tom Cruise and Renee Zellweger-breakup

 

After a period of time-he comes back to tell her

How much he misses and loves her

In front of a large group of women-no less

She puts her hand over his mouth-and basically says,

 

“SHUT UP-you had me at hello”

 

We come into this world as babies

We come in screaming and crying

But we NEED NOT worry

GOD HAS US AT HELLO

 

“In the beginning

God created the heavens and the earth”                          Genesis 1:1

 

God called you

Created you out of nothing

To be SOMEONE

To be –A CHILD OF GOD

 

GOD HAD YOU FROM HELLO

 

He called you to be HIS CHILD

A child of God

 

“In the beginning

You laid the foundation

Of the earth

And the heavens

Are the work of your hands”                                          Psalm 102:25

 

From the beginning

Of our life

God HELD YOU in the palm of his hand

 

YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD

 

“You created my inmost being

You knit me together

In my mother’s womb”                                                      Psalm 139:13

 

It can be a tough-cruel world out there

But we need not worry

 

GOD HAD YOU ( and me ) AT HELLO
