WITH THE HELP=OF EACH OTHER
Advent and Christmas
Are all about=what
God and Christ=have already done
He ENTERED this BROKEN WORLD
And brought
Wholeness=and healing=and reconciliation
GOD DOES=what only
He can do=bring UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
To us all
“Strengthen the hands
That are feeble=make firm
Knees that are weak
Say to those
Whose hearts are frightened=
BE STRONG=fear not!
Here is your God……..”
Isaiah 35:3-4
LET those words sink in=
Sink in=INTO your hearts
And realize=we all
Have a ROLE to play too=
In the Lord’s KINGDOM
And our role is
TO HELP ONE ANOTHER
On our road=and
On our TRAVELS=through this life=
It is a CALL=for all of us
It is up to us
To HELP EACH OTHER
In this world
We need to HELP
One another=on this road
As we travel the JOURNEY OF LIFE
“Lord my God=
I called to you=FOR HELP
And you healed me”
Psalm 30:2
“I will strengthen you
AND HELP YOU=
I will uphold you-
With my righteous right hand”
Isaiah 41:10
“Immediately=the boy’s father
Exclaimed=’I do believe=
HELP ME overcome my unbelief’”
Mark 9:24
We need to HELP
EACH OTHER= through this world
We need to help each other
TO BE READY!
In today’s gospel=we see
A PRIME EXAMPLE
Of others HELPING ONE
A paralyzed man is HEALED=
Because some friends LOWER him
Through the roof to
Right in FRONT of Jesus=
NOT a single one of us
Can do it=ALONE=in this world
We all need=HELP!
“So we say with confidence=
‘The Lord=is MY HELPER=
I will not be afraid
What can mere mortals=
Do to me?’”
Hebrews 13:6
So this ADVENT=prepare
For God to come=and prepare
To HELP ONE ANOTHER
In the coming year
It is=about all of us=getting through
This life
With the HELP OF GOD
And the HELP=Of ONE ANOTHER
Helping each other
Be READY=for the
ASTONISHING COMING=of our God
And Jesus
Dear Lord=we pray=
Help us to be BLESSINGS to one another
This CHRISTMAS SEASON!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name== of our ALWAYS HELPING
