BE OBEDIENT=LIKE MARY
Today=we laud Mary
For BEING the Mother of God
She didn’t write any books
She didn’t=
GIVE any lectures
She held no worldly rank
And HELD no worldly honors=
Yet outside of Jesus himself
She is the GREATEST PERSON
Who ever lived
In this man’s HUMBLE OPINION
SIMPLY because=she said yes
Simply because=
She was=OBEDIENT TO GOD!
She let=GOD’S WILL BE DONE
“Behold=I am
The HANDMAID of the Lord”
Luke 1:38
HOW do we know
What JOURNEY=we are all on?
How do we know=
Which ROAD to follow?
I am SURE Mary had
Many earthly and worldly dreams too
Like ALL the young Jewish girls did
During her time
Yet=when God CALLED on her
She said YES=she was OBEDIENT!
We should all
Have the COURAGE of Mary
THE OBEDIENCE of Mary
BE OBEDIENT=LIKE MARY!
“Then he went down
To Nazareth=with them
And was OBEDIENT=to them
But his mother=TREASURED
All these things=in her heart
And Jesus grew
In wisdom and stature
And in favor=with God and man”
Luke 2:51-52
“Through him=we received grace
And apostleship=to call
All the Gentiles=to the OBEDIENCE
That comes
From faith=for his name’s sake”
Romans 1:5
“AS OBEDIENT CHILDREN=
Do not conform=to the evil desires
You had=
When you lived in ignorance” 1
Peter 1:14
I don’t care
Who you are=it is NOT EASY
To give up control
Of your life=to another entity
Even IF it is God himself
IT TAKES COURAGE!
And it takes courage
For us=TO BE OBEDIENT=
LIKE MARY!
Her GREATNESS stems form
Her complete obedience
To God’s will=to say
“THY WILL BE DONE”
“I am the Lord’s servant’=
Mary answered=
‘May your word to me=
Be fulfilled’
Then the angel left her”

1:38
Dear Lord=we pray=that
LIKE your Son Jesus=
And his Mother Mary
That the WILL OF GOD
Be done=in us
Your will be done=in Jesus=his Mother Mary=and in the name
of
OUR ever willing=ever loving=HOLY FATHER GOD!
