BETWEEN HEAD AND HEART!
HAVE you ever been stuck
In a place=
Where your head was telling
You one thing=and your HEART
Was telling you something else?
I think that is WHERE
Joseph was today=
He didn’t want to
Be disgraced=but he wanted to
DO THE RIGHT THING!
“When Joseph awoke-he……..
Took Mary-his wife=into his home”
Matthew 1:24
BETWEEN HIS HEAD
AND HIS HEART!=being faithful
To the MESSAGE of God
Yes=Joseph-was in
A struggle=between
HIS HEAD AND HIS HEART=
But he did the right thing
He stayed FAITHFUL
To God’s message
He listened to God’s ANGEL=
He took Mary=as his wife
And into his HOME
BETWEEN HEAD AND HEART!
Staying faithful to God’s message
“All the ways
Of the Lord
Are loving=and FAITHFUL
Toward those
Who keep the demands
Of the covenant”
Psalm 25:10
“His master replied’=
‘Well done=
Good and FAITHFUL SERVANT!
You have been FAITHFUL
With a few things=I will put you
In charge=of many things
Come and share=
In your MASTER’S HAPPINESS’”
Matthew 25:21
Some things=in life
Are NOT=black and white
Some things=leave you struggling=between
YOUR HEAD AND YOUR HEART!
That is where Joseph was=
And he chose
To FOLLOW the message=
He chose
To follow HIS HEART!
Joseph’s message=goes beyond all common sense
We can only WONDER
How he JUSTIFIED=his decision
To his family and friends
Joseph surrendered to God
SURRENDERED to his heart=
Surrendered to his FAITH-
FOLLOWING GOD’S MESSAGE!
“Who has believed our MESSAGE?
And to whom
Has the arm=of the Lord
Been revealed?’
Isaiah 53:1
“Consequently=faith comes
From hearing the MESSAGE
And the MESSAGE=is heard
Through the word=about Christ” Romans
10:17
Dear Lord=we pray
That WHEN we are stuck
BETWEEN OUR HEAD=and OUR HEART!
We have the COURAGE
Like Saint Joseph
To be FAITHFUL=to
The MESSAGE of God’s WAY
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER FAITHFUL Holy
Father God!
