MARY=OUR MODEL OF FAITH
During Advent=we especially know
That Mary
Is our MODEL OF FAITH
Whether we FOLLOW her
Or not=her story
During these ADVENT DAYS
Can be=TRANSFORMING FOR US!
Especially if we ALLOW
Mary’s YES to God
And the angel
To be our yes too
Blessed are we
Mary=OUR MODEL OF FAITH
“BLESSED are you=who believed
That what was spoken=to you
By the Lord=would be fulfilled”
Luke 1:45
With Mary as our MODEL
And our guide=HER YES
Becomes our yes too
To TRANSFORM our ordinary life
Into something special=
God working in us=just like
HE WORKED IN MARY!
“GUIDE ME=in your truth
And teach me=for you
Are God my Savior
And my hope=is in you
All day long” Psalm
25:5
“When you walk
They will GUIDE YOU=
When you sleep
They will watch over you
When you awake=
They will speak to you” Proverbs
6;22
“But when he-
The Spirit of Truth comes
He will GUIDE YOU
Into all the truth=
He will=not speak
On his own=he will speak only
What he hears
And he will tell you
What is yet to come”
John 16:13
Mary’s yes to God
Signifies her willingness
To be=and do=the IMPOSSIBLE
And since she is=Mary is
OUR MODEL OF FAITH
God can do
The impossible in us too
“Jesus replied=
‘What is IMPOSSIBLE=with man
Is possible for God’”
Luke 18:27
“And without faith
It is IMPOSSIBLE
To please God
Because anyone
Who comes to him
Must believe that he exists
And that he rewards those
Who earnestly seek him”
Hebrews 11:6
Dear Mary=we PRAY
You=who are MODEL
IN FAITH=be our example now
And all the way
UNTIL the end of time
In Jesus’ name=the names of our HOLY FAMILY=and our Holy
Father God
Who is FOREVER FAITHFUL!
