TRUSTING IN GOD=THROUGH OUR IMPATIENCE

 

I sometimes get IMPATIENT

With life=I want everything

RIGHT NOW!

 

I sometimes get impatient

With God=I think he

Isn’t hearing my prayers

Or at least=ANSWERING them

The way I would like!

 

“WAIT for the Lord

With courage=be stouthearted

And WAIT for the Lord”                                                                                                           Psalm 27:14

 

It is HARD to keep on trusting God

WHEN we are waiting=

WAITING for so many things

In this life

 

But I tell you

KEEP ON TRUSTING GOD!

While you are waiting

 

Waiting for the

Traffic light=to change

Waiting for THE JUSTICE

We feel we DESERVE=

That seems like it is

NEVER COMING

 

Waiting for SOMEONE

To CHANGE their attitudes

Their opinions=and even actions

 

But I tell you

Keep on waiting=

KEEP ON TRUSTING GOD!=

Even when=your PATIENCE

Is running thin

 

“I WAIT for the Lord=

My whole being WAITS-

And in his word=I put my hope”                                                                                                      Psalm 130:5

 

“For the Lord=

Is a God of justice

Blessed are all

WHO WAIT FOR HIM!”                                                                                                                   Isaiah 30:18

 

“……..while we

WAIT for the blessed hope--------

 

The appearing of the glory

Of our great God=and Savior-Jesus Christ

Who gave himself=for us……..”                                                                                                      Titus 2:13-14

 

HOW we wait

For the mundane=in this life

DETERMINES how we

Wait for God=and wait

FOR THE SPIRITUAL

 

It is easy=to get IMPATIENT

When we=

Are WAITING for God

To act=I do=you do

WE ALL DO!

 

But KEEP ON TRUSTING GOD!

Even WHEN YOU ARE IMPATIENT

 

“TRUST in the Lord

And do good=dwell in the land

And enjoy safe pasture”                                                                                                                        Psalm 37:3

 

“Now it is required=that those

Who have been given=A TRUST

Must prove faithful”                                                                                                                     1 Corinthians 4:2

 

ALWAYS remember this Advent

Jesus entered this world

As a little baby=AT CHRISTMAS!

 

We are invited=to keep on

TRUSTING IN GOD!

And WAIT for him

 

He will enter your life=

In the MOST UNEXPECTED WAY=

This Advent

 

Keep on waiting=and

TRUSTING IN GOD!=through your impatience

You will be glad

That you did

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name==of OUR FOREVER PATIENT=Holy Father God!
