A PROMISE FULFILLED

 

Today we read about=A PROMISE FULFILLED

About Malachi=telling the people

About the MESSIAH=and his messenger coming!

 

“I am sending MY MESSENGER=to prepare

The way before me”                                                                                                      Malachi 3:1

 

What a FORSHADOWING for Christ=and

John the Baptist=WRITTEN 400 years BEFORE

Jesus’ coming=A PROMISE FULFILLED

 

And Jesus=will be THE FULFILLMENT of the promise

To us=WHEN he comes back=with

HIS HOLY FATHER GOD!

 

In Malachi’s writing=the MESSENGER was thought

To be Elijah=returning to earth

 

And on this “GREAT AND TERRIBLE DAY”=it

Was thought=TO BE A TIME

Of refining and purification

 

BUT ALL SCRIPTURE=was fulfilled

With the BIRTH=of John the Baptist=the prophet

WHO was sent=to announce

THE COMING OF OUR SAVIOR=a promise

ALL PROMISES FULFILLED!=In Christ Jesus

And our Holy Father God

 

“I will=FULFILL MY VOWS=to the Lord

In the presence=of all his people”                                                                                   Psalm 116:14

 

“Do not think=that I have come

To abolish the Law=or the Prophets=I

Have not come to abolish them=but

TO FULFILL THEM”                                                                                                    Matthew 5:17

 

“Every day=I was with you

Teaching in the temple courts=and

You did not arrest me=but the SCRIPTURES

MUST BE FULFILLED”                                                                                                       Mark 14:49

 

We too=are WAITING

For our promise=TO BE FULFILLED

Again this year=with THE COMING

Of our Lord Jesus Christ

 

We are waiting=FOR THE MESSIAH=and

THE MESSENGER=the day after CHRISTMAS

Our PROMISES=in the Lord=will BE FULFILLED

Along with=OUR HOLY FATHER GOD!

 

“The Lord=has kept

THE PROMISE HE MADE=I

Have succeeded David=my father

 

And now=I sit=on the throne

Of Israel=just as the LORD PROMISED”                                                                                   1 Kings 8:20

 

“THE PROMISE=is for you=

And your children=and for all

Who are far off--------for all

The Lord our God will call”                                                                                            Acts 2:39

 

We KNOW=the Lord always

KEEPS HIS PROMISES=for the Lord

Our God=cannot lie

 

47 years ago=I made a PROMISE to=

OUR HOLY FATHER GOD=and his Son Jesus=

“TO LIVE=for my family=my friends=and

FOR ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE”

 

I have had=NOTHING to do with it=with

KEEPING THIS PROMISE=in fact=in this

MOST RECENT HOSPITALIZATION=I was

Sure=I was going to die=but the Lord

KEPT ME ALIVE=yet again

A PROMISE FULFILLED!

 

400 years=before Christ=Malachi wrote

About Jesus and John=the MESSIAH

And the MESSENGER=and they came

A PROMISE FULFILLED!

 

The Lord Jesus=will come again

WITH HIS HOLY FATHER GOD=and it will be

ANOTHER PROMISE FUKFILLED!

 

Dear Lord=we pray for

THE CONTINUING GIFT OF LIFE=and

The GREAT GIFT=of your SAVIOR

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving=Holy Father God!
