LISTENING=TO GOD OUR FATHER=AND JESUS

 

LISTENING TO=GOD OUR FATHER

(And Jesus)

 

I have a left ear problem=BECAUSE

Of my intestinal problems=because of this

I sometimes have trouble=HEARING PEOPLE=but

I think I still HEAR GOD=

Talking to me=to us

 

That is MY STORY=but what IS

The story of=SOME of the people of God

And WHY=they can’t hear=God the HOLY FATHER

And his Son Jesus=speaking to us

LISTENING TO=and for

OUR HOLY FATHER GOD=and Jesus

 

“A voice cries out=in the desert

PREPARE THE WAY=of the Lord”                                                                                             Isaiah 40:3

 

And our John the Baptist=DID just that

And our apostles and disciples=of the Lord

PICKED up the MANTLE=after the Resurrection

 

There are=a lot of VOICES=in today’s world

Getting in the way=from us=HEARING

THE LORD=calling to us=just too much

 

We have the NEWS=we have the SOCIAL MEDIA=and

We have the VOICES=of our friends and neighbors

As well=as OUR OWN VOICES

Getting in the way

Our God=Our Jesus=is BEGGING US

To turn back to him

 

PREPARE THE WAY=like John did

For Jesus listens to=and for=HIS WORD

To try to COME BACK=into the world

LISTENING TO=GOD OUR FATHER=and Jesus

 

“YOU PREPARE=a table=before me

In the presence=Of my enemies

You anoint my head=with oil=my cup overflows”                                                                Psalm 23:5

 

“My Father’s house=has many rooms=if

That were not so=would I have told you

That I am going there=TO PREPARE

A place for you”                                                                                                                 John 14:2

 

MY FRIENDS=are you listening

For our God’s voice?==or are you

Letting news=social media=and what

Is going on=INSIDE of your own head=from

LISTENING TO=GOD OUR FATHER!=and

His Son=Jesus Christ?

 

LISTENING for his voice

OF LOVE=of forgiveness=and KINDNESS

In today’s world

 

“Now choose life=so that

You and your children=may live=and

That you may love

 

The Lord your God=LISTEN to

His voice=and hold fast to him”                                                                                     Deuteronomy 30:20

 

“The way of fools=seem right

To them=but the wise=LISTEN TO ADVICE”                                                                           Proverbs 12:15

 

John the Baptist=the apostles and

The disciples=AND THE SAINTS=down

THROUGH the years=all LISTENED TO

THE HOLY FATHER GOD=and his Son=Jesus

 

It is up to us=TO FOLLOW THEM

And bring our Holy Father God=and Jesus

Back to the forefront of the world

 

That is our job=TO LISTEN TO

God the Father and Jesus=and bring them

BACK to the forefront=in this world

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of the HOLY FATHER GOD=who will live

FOREVER IN US!
