A WORTHWHILE WAIT

 

Are you WAITING PATIENTLY=to

Meet the Lord?=Are you waiting patiently

For your prayers=TO BE ANSWERED=sometimes

It is=A WORTHWHILE WAIT

 

Let me tell you=about a MAN named Simeon

He was PROMISED to meet=the LORD OF ISRAEL=and

It never happened=UNTIL

He was an elderly man

 

KEEP waiting for the Lord=it is

A WORTHWHILE WAIT

 

“Now there was a man=in Jerusalem

Whose name was SIMEON=this man was

RIGHTEOUS AND DEVOUT

 

AWAITING=the consolation of Israel=and

The Holy spirit=was upon him”                                                                                            Luke 2:25

 

Simeon WAITED=for his promise=to come TRUE

What are you waiting for?=MAYBE it will come true

For you too

 

We wait=for many things=in this life

A health healing=a job offer=a promotion

A PROMISE=to come true

Sometimes=your dreams=DO COME TRUE!

 

“Now Lord=You have kept

YOUR PROMISE=and you may let

Your servant go in peace

 

With my own eyes=I

Have seen your salvation=which

You have prepared=in the presence

Of all peoples

 

A LIGHT=to reveal=Your will

To the Gentiles=and bring glory=to your people”                                                                       Luke 2:25-32

 

WE WAIT=patiently in the Lord=for

God’s timing=IS=not the same as ours

 

It calls for TRUST=In the lord=for

If we wait in FAITH=our waiting

Will be worthwhile=A WORTHWHILE WAIT!

 

We have to wait=in hopeful expectation

These PROMISES=of the Lord=will come true

In our life=just as it did=FOR SIMEON

 

“WAIT for the Lord=be strong=and take heart

In the Lord=and WAIT=for the Lord”                                                                          Psalm 27:14

 

“For the Lord=is a God=of justice

Blessed are all=WHO WAIT FOR HIM”                                                                             Isaiah 30:18

 

“……..WHILE WE WAIT=for the blessed hope-------

The appearing of=our great God=and Savior=Jesus Christ…….”                              Titus 2:13

 

Simeon waited A LIFETIME=to meet

The Lord=He showed up=in the Temple

Day after day=WAITING FOR THE LORD

With an open heart=he listened for=THE PRESENCE

Of our God

 

Then one day=IT HAPPENED=he met

The Lord=he met the Holy One

Face to face

KEEP WAITING=FOR THE LORD=for your answers

It may turn our to be=A WORTHWHILE WAIT!

Just like it was=For Simeon

 

“These have come=so that

The proven genuineness=of your faith--------

Of greater WORTH than gold=which perishes

 

Even though refined by fire=may result in

Praise=glory=and honor=when Jesus Christ is revealed”                                                         1 peter 1:7

 

Keep waiting for the Lord=you

JUST NEVER KNOW=when he might show up

It could be=A WORTHWHILE WAIT!=just as it was

FOR SIMEON

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER ANSWERING=Holy Father God!
