BY HOW MUCH WE LOVE!

 

THIS ONE=was originally written for November 27^th=WHEN

I was in the hospital

 

 

BY HOW MUCH WE LOVE!

 

Our Holy Father God=PLACED

A high price on us=with HIS LOVE

The love and LIFE=of

HIS only Son Jesus

 

And by the same token=there is

A high COST=for us=in this world too

God and Jesus=will judge us

BY THE LOVE=we have for them

And the love=we have=FOR one another

BY HOW MUCH LOVE!

 

“I tell you truly=THIS POOR WIDOW

Put in=More than=all the rest

 

For those others=have all made offerings

From their surplus wealth=but she

FROM HER POVERTY=has offered

Her whole livelihood”                                                                                                      Luke 21:3-4

 

What a=MOST PRECIOUS GIFT

This poor widow made=she GAVE

From what she had=TO LIVE ON

 

GIVING=without counting the cost

Giving=BY HOW MUCH WE LOVE!

 

We have to understand=

In this world=that everything we have

IS A GIFT=FROM GOD=to receive

And give it=with our LOVE

SHARING with God=and with EACH OTHER

As MUCH as we can=BY

HOW MUCH WE LOVE!

 

“All day long=he craves for more

But the righteous=GIVE=without sparing”                                                                         Proverbs 21:26

 

“I WILL=GIVE YOU=a new heart

And put=a new spirit=in you

 

I will remove=from you=your heart of stone=

And give you=a heart of flesh”                                                                                             Ezekiel 36:26

 

Our poor widow=had

A HEART OF LOVE=she gave

ALL that she had

 

What a wonderful world=it would be

IF MORE PEOPLE=had a heart

Like this woman-in today’s gospel

 

Don’t count the cost=COUNT THE LOVE

IN how much=we can=GIVE TO GOD

And to others

 

Maybe our gifts=CANNOT

Change this world=or change

EVEN one person’s life

 

But maybe=JUST MAYBE

We can help someone=FEEL BETTER

For just a moment

BY HOW MUCH=THAT WE LOVE!

 

“Heal the sick=raise the dead

Cleanse those who have leprosy

Drive out demons

Freely you have received=FREELY GIVE”                                                                             Matthew 10:8

 

“A new command=I GIVE YOU

LOVE one another=as I have loved you=so

So you must love one another

 

By this=everyone will know

That you are my disciples==IF

You love one another”                                                                                                    John 13:34

 

We all KNOW=that this poor widow

Was one of Jesus’ disciples=for she

GAVE all that she had=IN LOVE

For the sake of others

 

It is=NOT about

How much we give=some of us

Have more than others=it is about

HOW MUCH LOVE=we give with

BY HOW MUCH LOVE!

 

Dear Lord=we pray=SEE OUR LOVE

In the WAY=that we give

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of OUR FOREVER GIVING=forever living=

Forever loving Holy Father God!
