THE COMMITMENT=TO OUR FAITH!

 

THE COMMITMENT=TO OUR FAITH!

 

WE KNOW=all about the UNWAVERING FAITH=

Of Mary=and her accepting HER CALLING

To give birth=to=THE SON OF GOD!

 

“BEHOLD=I am a handmaiden=of the Lord

May it be DONE to me=according

To your WORD”                                                                                                                       Luke 1:38

 

Mary’s YES=to the ANGEL

To the Holy Father has

CHANGED THE WORLD

 

But what about=THE FAITH OF JOSEPH

What about the COMMITMENT=to his faith

Do we have that SAME COMMITMENT=to our God

That Joseph had?

 

“When Joseph AWOKE=he did

As the ANGEL of the Lord=had commanded

And took HIS WIFE=into his home”                                                                                Matthew 1:24

 

Mary had great FAITH=but

SO DID JOSEPH=the step FATHER to Jesus

THE COMMITMENT to his faith

Do we have=THE COMMITMENT=to

Our faith=like Joseph did?

 

Our thoughts=AND GRATITUDE=turn

To Joseph today=for his part=with

THE HOLY FAMILY=and his commitment

 

Just IMAGINE=the local gossip=

Josph ENDURED=when

His lovely wife was pregnant=and not

With his baby

 

Joseph’s beliefs= and his COMMITMENT

To his faith=CHANGED the world too

Just like Mary’s

 

Joseph was FULLY committed to his family

He was a LOYAL=honest=and sincere man

To his family=AND TO GOD

 

“And may your hearts=BE FULLY COMITTED

To the Lord our God

 

To live by his decrees=and obey the commands

As at this time”                                                                                                                    1 KINGS 8:61

 

“……..that God=was reconciling the world

To himself in Christ=not counting

People’s sins against them

 

And he has COMMITTED to us

The message of reconciliation”                                                                                              2 Corinthians 5:19

 

How about us?=when we

LOOK at our lives=do we have

THAT SAME COMMITMENT=to our FAITH

As Saint Joseph?

 

Are we loyal=honest=and sincere?

Like the good Saint Joseph=to our God

And our FAMILY?=

THE COMMITMENT=TO OUR FAITH!

 

“LOVE MUST BE SINCERE=Hate what

Is evil=cling to what is GOOD”                                                                                             Romans 12:9

 

“……..let us draw near=to God

WITH A SINDERE HEART

 

And with=the full assurance=that faith brings

Having our hearts sprinkled=to

Cleanse us=from a guilty conscience……..”                                                                         Hebrews 10:22

 

And so my dear friends=my

Dear brothers and sisters

 

Like Saint Joseph=let us RISE ABOVE

Our limitations and our fears=and be

LOYAL=sincere and HONEST=with our lives

To our God =and OUR FAMILY with

THE COMMITMENT=TO OUR FAITH!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name of OUR HOLY FATHER GOD=as well

As the HOLY FAMILY
