THAT UNCONDITIONAL YES!

 

THAT UNCONDITIONAL YES!

 

Today we read about=TWO WOMEN

Two mothers=GENERATIONS APART

DEDICATING their children=to the Lord

 

WE all know the story=of Mary

The Blessed Mother=but do you KNOW

The story of HANNAH=and her son Samuel?

 

Hannah wanted a son too=she

DEDICATED Samuel=to the Lord

THAT UNCONDITIONAL YES!

 

“I PRAYED=for this child=and

The Lord has granted me=what

I asked of him

 

So now=I GIVE HIM=to the Lord

For his whole life=he will be

GIVEN over to the Lord=and he

Worshiped the Lord there”                                                                                                     1 Samuel 1:27-28

 

Two women=with AN UNCONDITIONAL YES!

But how about us?=do we have

That unconditional yes=for the LOUR OUR GOD

Like Hannah and Mary?

 

Just LIVING for the Holy Father God=

Like Jesus and Samuel=and

Those two BEAUTIFUL MOTHERS

THAT UNCONDTIONAL YES!

 

“Then the Lord God=formed a man

From the dust=of the ground=and breathed

Into his nostrils=the BREATH OF LIFE=and the man became

A LIVING BEING”                                                                                                                 Genesis 2:7

 

“My people=have committed two sins=

They have forsaken me=the spring

OF LIVING WATER

 

And have dug their own cisterns=

Broken cisterns=that cannot hold water”                                                                          Jeremiah 2:13

 

TWO WOMEN=and their dedicated sons

GIVING THEIR UNCONDITIONAL YES!=to God

And their sons

One son=a great prophet=another son=Jesus

THE SON OF GOD

 

How about us?=Are we giving=AN UNCONDITIONAL YES

For the Holy Father God?=Are we

TRYING to live our lives=according to GOD’S PLAN?

According to the WILL=OF OUR GOD?

 

“I desire=TO DO YOUR WILL=my God

Your law=is within my heart”                                                                                           Psalm 40:8

 

“…….your kingdom come=YOUR WILL

Be done=on earth=as it is=in heaven”                                                                            Matthew 6:10

 

“Therefore=do not=be foolish

But understand what=THE LORD’S WILL IS”                                                                           Ephesians 5:17

 

These two women=ARE OVERFLOWING with gratitude

For the Lord=has answered=their PRAYERS

 

These two women=having HEARTS that MIRROR

The Heart=of God our Father=who surrendered

HIS SON=to the world

 

So today=dear Lord=we pledge=ALL we are

All we can ever be=by surrendering to YOUR WILL

And giving you=THAT UNCONDITIONAL YES!

Just like Mary and Hannah

 

Dear Lord=we WANT to be

All that you want us to be=and do

And PRAY with HEARTS=like Hannah and Mary

THAT UNCONDITIONAL YES!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our forever living=forever loving

FOREVER WILLING=Holy Father God!
