MOVING FORWARD WITH COURAGE- DURING LIFE'S MOST DIFFICULT MOMENTS I talk to many people EVERY DAY-and the more I Talk to them- Or better yet LISTEN I find that MANY Of us ARE going through life's MOST DIFFICULT MOMENTS Difficult health problems Difficult financial problems- And difficult relationship questions Some people call these “Uh-oh” moments WHATEVER we are facing We need to FIND THE COURAGE- DEEP within ourselves And move FORWARD with the GRACE OF GOD That's IS what he gives us- That's what we need And God gave us these qualities “For God Did NOT give us a SPIRIT Of cowardice But rather of POWER and love And self-control” 2 Timothy 1:7 We NEED COURAGE To face the tough moments Of our lives That is WHAT Christ did And that the WAY he would Have us RESPOND With his very own SPIRIT That he LEFT BEHIND for us “Lord Almighty-God of Israel You have REVEALED this To your servant-saying, 'I will BUILD a house For you So your servant Has found COURAGE To PRAY this prayer For you'” 2 Samuel 27 “But Jesus immediately Said to them: 'Take courage-it is I Don't be afraid'” Matthew 14:27 “WHEN they saw The COURAGE- Of Peter and John And realized- They were unschooled-ordinary men They were ASTONISHED And they took note That those men Had been with Jesus” Acts 4:13 YES-that is what We need The COURAGE Of the HUMBLE SERVANTS of Israel And the courage of the master himself As well as Jesus' own apostles We can OVERCOME LIFE'S difficult moments In today's world We can OVERCOME our fear With real confidence in God And VERY REAL confidence In Christ With the HELP of GOD'S POWER and LOVE We can move FORWARD In any situation Dear Lord-help us to GREET CHANGES in life With the courage and serenity Of God-and ALL of HIS LOVE Robert P.
