WISHING ONE ANOTHER PEACE

WISHING ONE ANOTHER PEACE WISHING one another peace is ONE Of the BEST and greatest things that WE can do It is SO IMPORTANT that it is DONE At every MASS and almost every SERVICE of every denomination EACH SUNDAY In fact-it is so IMPORTANT- That Christ WISHED us peace over and over Again in the NEW TESTAMENT “IF a peaceful person LIVES THERE Your PEACE will rest on him But if not-it will RETURN TO YOU” Luke 10:6 “Salt is good But if it loses its saltiness How can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves And BE at peace with each other” Mark 9:50 “But the ADVOCATE-the Holy Spirit Whom the Father Will send in my name Will teach you all things And will REMIND YOU Of everything I have said to you PEACE I leave with you My peace I GIVE TO YOU I do NOT give to you As the world gives DO NOT let your hearts be troubled And do not be afraid” John 14:25-27 WHERE is the peace for One another In the 21st century? Certainly not on the streets- In the homes-and especially NOT In automobiles What if WHEN people Made a driving error Instead of swearing at them Or giving someone the finger We RESPONDED with a little prayer To ourselves-and said: “PEACE BE WITH YOU” Not only is WISHING PEACE to another A GIFT to the other person But it is a gift to ourselves- Since the COMPASSION expressed Can only make us MORE peaceful too Wishing peace to others-ONE-ON-ONE- Is a gift to society too- MAYBE it can help bring peace And the KINGDOM of God-closer- On a little larger scale Maybe the peace you wish To ONE PERSON May be PASSED on to another person By him and her-and on and on “The Lord gives strength To his people The Lord BLESSES His people-WITH PEACE” Psalm 29:11 “Deceit is in the hearts Of those who plot evil But those who PROMISE PEACE- HAVE JOY” Proverbs 12:20 “Let the PEACE of Christ RULE in your hearts Since as members of one body You were CALLED to peace- And BE THANKFUL” Colossians 3:15 I WISH you ALL PEACE The PEACE OF GOD and Christ Have a BLESSED DAY-and PEACE BE with you PASS IT ON........
