THE WEAKNESS OF OUR WORLD-and- THE MAJESTY OF GOD Take a look AROUND our world And OBSERVE some of the weaknesses The violence-the murders=the child abuse= The social injustices BUT also take a look around And OBSERVE the MAJESTY=the miracles Of God-the miracle of life= BOTH YOURS and mine Our Lord KNEW BOTH= The cruelties of this world- Being born to an unwed mother- And the social injustices That went to Mary-and Joseph- And Jesus-and the family But also the MIRACLES of the FAMILY- The togetherness-the ONE FOR ALL= And ALL for one I COME from such a family How about you?- The FAMILY BORN out of LOVE-that can never be broken THAT REMAINS WHOLE Jesus-Mary-and Joseph PROVED THAT My family-my SISTERS and I= PROVE that too SO does your family In WHATEVER FORM it takes The FAMILY IS: The MAJESTY OF GOD “For behold-some are last-- WHO will be first And some are first Who will be last” Luke 13:30 “THROUGH the victories-you gave His glory is great You have bestowed on him SPLENDOR and MAJESTY” Psalm 21:5 “PEOPLE will flee to caves And to holes in the ground From the fearful presence Of the Lord And the splendor Of his majesty When he rises To shake the earth” Isaiah 2:19 Jesus-the GREATEST LIFE Whoever lived The greatest who ever will live Who conquered death And LIVES forever and ever Despite being born In a poor girl's womb And despite a life that ended With the scandal of the CROSS YES-someday The last will be first- And the first will be last There is HOPE for us all In this cruel world That we live in The Roman empire has gone OTHER empires have arisen They will come- And they will go But the life of Jesus Christ The WORDS of Jesus' life WILL LIVE forever and ever As will we=HIS SINCERE And genuine followers “Truly-I tell you- This generation Will certainly NOT pass away Until ALL these things-have happened Heaven and earth will pass away But MY WORDS Will never pass away” Matthew 24:35 “SURELY your goodness and love Will follow me ALL the days of my life And I will DWELL in the HOUSE Of the Lord FOREVER” Psalm 23:6 WE LIVE in a weak and cruel world- WHERE people like to BULLY one another FOLLOW God-follow Christ Be a believer-be a follower And you MAY wind up first You may LIVE FOREVER with God In God and JESUS' MAJESTY- LET IT BE!
