AN ABUNDANCE OF LIFE=AND LOVE
Today Jesus tells us-
He is our gatekeeper=
He tells us-
IF we follow him=
We will
Have an ABUNDANCE OF LIFE
Finding an ABUNDANCE OF LIFE
AND LOVE
By following Jesus
“I came=so they
Might have LIFE
And have it=MORE ABUNDANTLY”
John 10:10
But WHAT does Jesus mean
By having
AN ABUNDANCE OF LIFE?
I don’t think he is
Talking about money=in the bank
Or having=lots of “STUFF”
I think he is
Talking about a rich LOVING LIFE
With God our Father
Like he himself had
I think he was
Talking about=having people
To LOVE and care for
And for people
WHO CARE and love for you
Maybe meaningful work and service
In this world
That has God himself in it
AN ABUNDANCE OF LIFE=
AND LOVE
In our lives
“The he said to then=
‘Watch out!
Be on guard
Against all kinds of greed=
Life does not consist-
In an ABUNDANCE of possessions’”
Luke 12:15
“Mercy-peace-and love
Be yours=IN ABUNDANCE”
Jude:2
Our abundance includes
A STRONG FAITH
In Jesus=and God-our Holy Father
It includes a PEACE from God
During the hard=and tragic times
In our life
It includes a strong sense=
Of being loved and forgiven
BY OUR MERCIFUL GOD
AN ABUNDANCE OF LIFE=
AND LOVE
“No one can redeem
The LIFE of another
Or give to God
A ransom for them--------”
Psalm 49:7
“Then Jesus said to his disciples’
‘Therefore I tell you----do not worry
What you will eat=or about
What you will wear
FOR LIFE=is more than food
And the body=more than clothes’”
Luke 12:22-23
Jesus came to INVITE US
To an ABUNDANCE OF LIFE
AND LOVE=we just have to
Say YES=and ACCEPT IT
Lord=we open up ourselves
TO YOUR ABUNDANT LIFE
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ABUNDANTLY GOOD=Holy
Father God!
