OUR GOOD SHEPHERD!

 

OUR GOOD SHEPHERD!

 

Thank God

We have a SHEPHERD

To lead us

 

Thank God-

We have a SUPREME BEING

Who cares for us-

Who guides us-

And LEADS US

Throughout our life

 

“We are his people=

The SHEEP of his flock”                                                                                                               Psalm 100.3

 

The Shepherd leads his flock

But of all the animals

We could have been

Do we HAVE to be SHEEP?

 

Couldn’t we BE have been

SMART=like a dolphin?

Or courageous and with great power

Like a lion?

Or an animal with graceful beauty

Like a race horse?

 

But maybe that is WHY

WE ARE SHEEP=

We need a leader

Like our Jesus=like our God

OUR GOOD SHEPHERD!

 

“The Lord is my SHEPHERD-

I lack nothing”                                                                                                                   Psalm 23:1

 

“He tends his flock-

Like a SHEPHERD”                                                                                                          Isaiah 40:11

 

“As a SHEPHERD=

Looks after his flock

When he is=with them

 

So will I

Look after my sheep”                                                                                                             Ezekiel 34:12

 

Maybe that is WHY

PRECISELY=we are sheep

And need a shepherd

 

We humans=are NOT

Always that smart=

Sometimes we are weak

And powerless=IN our life situations

 

And sometimes we act

IN UGLY WAYS

Toward one another

 

We desperately NEED

A GOOD SHEPHERD

OUR GOOD SHEPHERD!

 

“When he saw the crowds

He had=compassion on them

 

Because they were helpless=

Like sheep=Without a SHEPHERD”                                                                                       Matthew 9:36

 

“I am the GOOD SHEPHERD

The GOOD SHEPHERD-

Lays down his life

For the sheep”                                                                                                                               John 10:11

 

We people

Desperately need our GOOD SHEPHERD-

Someone to lead us=to the

Life-sustaining water and pastures

And that is Jesus does

OUR GOOD SHEPHERD!

 

And we are like sheep

Because IN ADDITION

To needing our Good Shepherd!

We need each other

We can’t live life alone

 

Dear GOOD SHEPHERD=we sheep

Thank you for

Encouraging us=and INSPIRING US daily

We WILL FOLLOW you forever-

OUR GOOD SHEPHERD!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER leading=Holy Father God!
