DO YOU KNOW THE WAY?=to the Lord

 

DO YOU KNOW=THE WAY

(to the Lord)?

 

Have you ever BEEN

On a trip and got LOST?

It is not

Any fun=especially IF

It is a long journey

 

That is TRUE

Of our spiritual life too=

We need to PLAN our trip=

And TRUST in our God

 

Our KEYS in our SPIRITUAL TRIP

Is the Lord=DO YOU

KNOW THE WAY?

 

“Thomas said to him’=

‘Master we do NOT KNOW

Where you are going=

How can we=KNOW THE WAY?’

 

Jesus said to him

‘I am the WAY=the truth=

And the life’”                                                                                                                                      John 14:5-6

 

KNOWING the way

On a trip

Takes planning=and following

Our map=and our guides

 

KNOWING THE WAY

On our spiritual journey

Means staying CLOSE to Jesus

 

“Commit YOUR WAY=to the Lord

Trust in him=

And he will do this”                                                                                                      Psalm 37:5

 

“There is a WAY

That appears to be right=

But in the end

It leads to death”                                                                                                                Proverbs 14:12

 

“And yet I will show you=

The most EXCELLENT WAY”                                                                                       1 Corinthians 12:31

 

I can identify

With Thomas’ concern

About where to go

AFTER Jesus leaves

 

I would be

TOTALLY LOST

Without our Jesus

I would not know

Which way to go

 

The apostles had no maps

Or formal plans=

But they KNEW

Which way to go

BECAUSE Jesus=was guiding them

 

DO YOU KNOW-

WHICH WAY TO GO?

We will=if we stay close

And FOLLOW Jesus=our leader

 

“By a new

And LIVING WAY

Opened for us=through the curtain

That is=his body”                                                                                                                  Hebrews 10:20

 

Jesus OFFERS US

The navigational gifts

For all of us

 

He was/HE IS

The way=the truth=

And the LIFE

 

We are FOLLOWING him

On the WAY

And we will=KNOW THE WAY=if

We stay close to OUR JESUS

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LEADING Holy Father God!
