“Heavy—Hearted Memories”
For those of you who know me, you know I keep track of
people’s birthdays.
While I can’t always send everyone a card, I always remember
them in prayer.
Today is the birthday of a young male nurse, named Jason,
who took care of
My Mom at the hospital, during the last week of her
life. All I can see is my Mom
Looking up at Jason, with those big brown eyes saying,
“Thank you Jason. Thank you
Jason. I love you
Jason.”
And then, on the ride home in the ambulance, my Mom throwing
up, and when the
Ambulance drivers got her inside and in to her bed, saying
to the ambulance drivers,
“I am sorry for throwing up in your ambulance.”
If there was ever a sweeter soul than my Mother, I have yet
to meet them.
With a grateful heart I say, “Happy Birthday Jason—wherever
you are.”

Also remembering, at this time of my life, the lives of my
Father, and my Uncles,
John J. Murphy and Charles E. Nelson. There are no others like you and no family
Like ours. With
grateful appreciation for all the good times.
