THE GREATEST OF GIFTS!
It was SAD
When the disciples=
Had to say GOODBYE
To Jesus
For the second time
It is sad for us too
But he was DIVINE
And he left all of us
THE GREATEST OS GIFTS!
The gift of the ADVOCATE
The gift of the HOLY SPIRIT!
“The Holy Spirit……..
Will teach you everything……..”
John 14:26
Of course=
I would rather=have Jesus
IN THE FLESH=walking with me
THROUGH my daily life
As he was
With the APOSTLES
But he left us
THE GREATEST OF GIFTS!
The gift of the ADVOCATE
The gift of the Holy Spirit
I wish we STILL
Had Jesus=in the flesh
To WALK with us daily=
But that would be
THE WRONG CHOICE!
Jesus had to go-
To his Father
So he left us HIS ADVOCATE
Behind to GUIDE US
“And I will
Ask the Father=and he will
Give you ANOTHER ADVOCATE
To help you
And be with you--------forever
The SPIRIT of truth”
John 14:16
“My dear children-
I write this to you
So that you=will not sin
But if anybody
Does sin=we have the ADVOCATE-------
Jesus Christ=the Righteous One”
1 John 2:1
WHEN this Spirit
Comes to us=IT FILLS US
With the entire being of God
We become ONE with Jesus
We become
A UNIFIED BEING
The truth is
WE BECOME ONE
With the DIVINE=we
BECOME ONE
With the Lord=
All things are made POSSIBLE
By the coming
OF THE SPIRIT
The Spirit
THE GREATEST OF ALL GIFTS!
“If you then=
Though you are evil
Know how to GIVE GOOD GIFTS
To your children-
How much more will
Your Father in heaven
Give the Holy Spirit
To those who ask him!” Luke
