BRINGING THE LOVE

 

BRINGING THE LOVE

 

We are on the eve

OF PENTECOST=and Christ’s own spirit

And WORDS=coming to=THE EARLY CHURCH

 

As well as to us=IF

We are TRUE BELIEVERS

And modern day apostles

BRINGING THE LOVE=and bringing

CHRIST alive again=in our world

Bring the LOVE=of God

TO OTHERS=in today’s world

 

“……..with COMPLETE ASSURANCE

And without hindrance=HE PROCLAIMED

 

The Kingdom of God=and taught about

The Lord Jesus Christ”                                                                                                      Acts 28:31

 

That was our Saint Paul=him=

Barnabas=and others=as well as

THE ORIGINAL TWELVE=were

Assigned to BRING=the WORD of God

To the world

 

But it falls to us too

To make=CHRIST’S LOVE ALIVE again

In this world=just like it was

Some 2.000 years ago

 

So on the EVE of Pentecost

Let us think about=THE MISSION

That Jesus gave them=and us

BRINGING THE LOVE=Of Jesus

Into this world=once again

 

“Jesus said=

‘Therefore go and make

DISCIPLES of all nations

 

Baptizing them=in

The name of the Father=and

Of the Son=and of the Holy Spirit

 

And teaching them=to obey everything

I commanded you=and SURELY

I am with you ALWAYS=to

The very end=of the age’”                                                                                                            Matthew 28:19-20

 

Yes Jesus=got it started=and

The apostles and Saint Paul=continued it

BUT it is up to all of us=to

Continue to BRING THE LOVE of God=

To the ENTIRE WORLD

 

“Let them give thanks

To the Lord=for his unfailing LOVE

And his wonderful deeds=for mankind”                                                                                    Psalm 107:8

 

“Whoever pursues righteousness=AND LOVE

Finds life=prosperity=and honor”                                                                                         Proverbs 21:21

 

ONE Saint=who was always

BRINGING THE LOVE=like Jesus and Saint Paul

Was saint Augustine of Canterbury=he was

A GREAT MISSIONARY to England=sent by Pope Gregory

In the sixth century

Sent on a mission with 40 monks=to EVANGELIZE

The Anglo Saxon community

 

SPREADING the Word of God=BRINGING THE LOVE

Is not just a responsibility for the apostles=the saints

And the religious=but it=FALLS to all of us

To BRING Christ’ love=into the world

 

So always REMEMBER=we too

Are missionaries=and it is our job

 

To bring the GOOD NEWS=of Christ’s love

To all people in this world

BRINGING THE LOVE!=to all

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=and FOREVER LOVING=Holy Father God!
