ROOTING OURSELVES=IN THE WORD

(Of God)

 

We all have PHILOSOPHIES

Of life=on HOW

We should live our lives

CONSCIOUS=or unconscious

 

For me=it is GOD and family

1A and 1B=and standing on

ROOTING OURSELVES=in

THE WORD OF GOD

 

“I am reminding you=Brothers and sisters

Of the Gospel=I preached to you

 

Which you indeed received

And in which=YOU ALSO STAND”                                                                                         1 Corinthians 15:1

 

We all=have to ROOT OURSELVES

In something=in this world

 

And for me=GOD AND FAMILY

And the WORD OF GOD

Gives us SUBSTANCE

 

It is much better=than

Rooting ourselves=in the pleasures of this world

BETTER than alcohol=Better than drugs

Better than sex and money=it gives us

A CONNECTION to God and Jesus themselves

It gives us=A BASIS for life

ROOTING OURSELVES=IN THE WORD=OF GOD

 

“He grew up before him=

Like a tender shoot= and

LIKE A ROOT=Out of dry ground”                                                                                        Isaiah 53:2

 

“For the love of money=

IS A ROOT=of all kinds of evil

 

Some people=eager for money

Have wandered=from the faith

And pierced themselves=with many griefs”                                                                1 Timothy 6:16

 

We have to=STAND ON SOMETHING

In this world=we have to BUILD OUR LIVES

On something

For me=IT IS GOD

It is=living by=THE WORD OF GOD

ROOTING OURSELVES=IN THE WORD=OF GOD

 

When we stand=ON THE GOSPEL

The words of the Gospel

 

We are standing on=SOMETHING SOLID

Our lives are a basis

FOR SOMETHING MEANINGFUL

 

We are living LOVE

We are living forgiveness=we are

LIVING KINDNESS=and we are

Living the BEATITUDES=all

Like the example of Jesus Christ

ROOTING OURSELVES=in/and on=THE WORD of God

 

“How can=a young person=

Stay on=the path of purity?=BY LIVING

According to Your WORD”                                                                                                          Psalm 119:9

 

“EVERY WORD=of God

Is flawless=he is a shield=to those

Who take refuge in him”                                                                                                      Proverbs 30:5

 

“Take the=helmet of salvation

And the sword=of the SPIRIT

Which is=THE WORD OF GOD”                                                                                             Ephesians 6:17

 

SO COMMIT=your lives

To the Holy Father=and to Jesus

BUILD your lives=On something substantial

 

ROOT YOURSELVES=IN THE WORD=OF GOD!

You will be glad=that you did=and your life

WILL stand forever

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING=forever living=Holy Father God!
